How do you get to that conclusion? A lot of Hull fans have really shown the club up over the past few days. Most of you seem to acknowledge Sneyd did wrong without been malicious, which I agree with.

However there seems to be a mental challenge whenever any slightly positive news comes about regarding McGuires actual injury! This comment is a prime example! Somehow you've come to the conclusion McGuire has nothing wrong with him and never had been??

I think part of the issue is McDermott moaning and then a "Rovers style" timely boost that suggests McGuire wasn't as badly hurt as he thought. People may feel that McDermott was OTT unnecessarily, whether that would influence the MRP in any way or not.

He isn't the only one to whinge about challenges (and it was a bad one) but from suspected broken ankle to possibly playing in just over two days brings the boy who cried wolf to mind.

“He could have broken his ankle by the look of it,” McDermott said. “He’s not walking - he can’t even put it on the ground. It’s a bad one." - from the Yorkshire Post.

Yet there's a pic of him outside the ground (to be fair with a boot on and crutches), apparently taken at the same time McDermott was speaking, suggesting that actually McDermott has overreacted. He isn't the first and won't be the last, but as a successful coach of longstanding, I, and I'm sure others, expected better.

so a 3-5 game ban ended up with a 2 game ban? hope somebody injures send when he returns, and Ablett should have just pummelled him after the tackle. clearly this kind of house take is not deemed serious enough by Rfl so players should deal with it in the own way the old fashioned way.

2 games is a bit harsh IMO but we'll have to take it on the chin. Unfortunately it is possibly our 2 most important games of teh season he'll miss.
