Would you put Yeaman on the wing?

| Out recruitment & retainment is baffling at times. Tom Briscoe had a contract pulled away as he took too long weighing up his options. We were led to believe that this money was allocated for a replacement or other recruits. Before people start I know Lineham got an upgrade etc.
Last season Lineham, Crookes & Briscoe
This year Lineham, Crookes, talanoa, Biggs & Colbon
So we've replaced an international with one who has been out of the game as a dust man, one who has never been in the game and another who couldn't get a club!
I don't know what players are on but I'm guessing Biggs won't be leaving union for pittance & Talanoa didn't fly halfway across the world for nothing. We can't be far off paying what we'd have paid Briscoe?
Only one can play at a time as Lineham is a shoe-in so we appear to have wasted the chance to strengthen in other areas.

That could also mean 3 different SL clubs have deemed him not good enough to keep on.
Plenty of players have had a few clubs. Doesn't mean they are good players.
Not saying this is the case with Colbon but don't think you can use that as a guide to how good a player is.

You do know why Talanoa was out of the game for a while i take it?
And how highly he was thought of before then?
You, like me, have very little idea how much players are on so shouldn't go making wild assumptions.

Well at least he wouldn't have to think about passing too much.

Using players to play out of their normal position never worked for us before and never will. Unless your a competent utility player like Whiting, who is comfortable playing anywhere most of the time. Arundel is a out and out centre and should only play in that position and no where else.

| Here's an idea. It's a crazy one I know but hear me out...
Why don't we wait and see how he does in a Hull shirt before we judge him?

| Not an earth-stopping signing but by no means a bad one. Caro and Cockayne ARE bad signings. Colbon offers cover. He won't be first choice, in the same way as Shaul wasn't first choice, or Whiting.
Give the guy a chance to prove himself. So far, every single one of the nine signings has been slagged off.
This club is dogged by fans who think we have the divine right to sign only the top 20 players in the world. Get real.

Even then I get that some people on here wouldn't be happy.

| Before his jaw injury, Liam Colbon was one of the best wingers in the league bringing the ball out of his own end. He didn't seem to re-gain his confidence with us after that incident and he was a shadow of his former self.
If he was back to his best then I would have him back in the Rovers side. No pace but very good at what he does.

When did you sign them?
Cockayne isn't my cup of tea, but he's 10 times the player Colbon ever has been. I've seen enough of both to make that assessment. I suspect you haven't, but will no doubt correct me.
