But then you can also say sometimes some of there team mates accidently knocks them out with part of there body..
Rugby Players know the risks in playing our game so calling brain damage being because of shoulder charges is ridiculous.
Shoulder barging is part of RL and if they take it away In SL then it will be a poor move |

The reason the NRL has acted is because over the past few years concussions are up.
It's a combination of retreating 10 yards, more interchanges, fitter players and more "impact" players which have got us to were we are.
We've already seen a retirement and I'm sure there's been some more this season.

It reminds me why were forced to wear crash helmets to ride motorbikes, it has to be a law because some people are too ing stupid not to.

I See where your coming from but i still disagree with the banning of the shoulder charge. Seriously what is wrong with it.
End of the day our sport is one of the most physical in the game. If there that concerned about hurting the head, Wear a scrum hat. That's what there there for. |

The reason that injuries are going up is because refs are now enforcing strict 10 yards nowadays and as such the momentum is greater at the collision point than it is when you get a skinny 10.
And lets face it the dudes are bigger , faster and stronger than ever..... furk all to do with shoulder charges

you do realise this is a contact sport yes????
at least 50% of all tackles involve a head contact of some kind
FFs you can get concussed playing squash , so do they have to wear pads and a helmet as well  |
