I agree. I thought that Hull would win tonight but like many other fans I was mistaken [again!] and let down. Where does the blame lie, coaching staff, players or both? I wish I knew.

| Did I miss Sharp tonight. Only we let in 2 tries on the right side with an overlap for Hall.
Slightly puzzled why there isn't a thread about Sharp

| Quote: Chris28 "Leeds were better tonight in a VERY poor game, simple as.
But I'm hearing of Ladbrokes investigating suspicious betting patterns, lots of bets on how many times we'd take the wrong option in attack and how many times we'd have first receiver run straight into the markers from a 45 degree angle. The latter was so predictable, they've got their work cut out'"
OR............
Agar's game-plan tonight, was not to show our attacking plays to Leeds,in
the wake of next week's game

| I thought we'd win tonite. I was really looking forward to it. Leeds looked there for the taking to me. They've been poor for some time and have a muppet in charge. Leeds were as poor as I expected - even their muppet coach could see that early on and came down pitchside anxiously -but by god we were so much poorer than them! We won the most muppet like coach award by a street and even worse our so called "stars" - the ones who are staying , were far inferior to the Leeds dross. When Ablett gets the man of the match unless it's a kids game in the park then the other 33 players really ought to be considering their futures and perhaps thinking about a career change! Ablett?????? He wouldn't get considered for a Toyota cup third team in Oz!! Notwithstanding his injury , Fitzgibbon was so slow and ineffective it was painful , it's probably unfair to pick him out but his speed has been the thing that has made him stand out up to now , he is just so damned slow he makes Washbrook look dynamic!! How the hell we turned up for that game in the mood we did god knows , has Agar convinced everyone that we're contenders? We've played worse and had poorer players in the past but I don't think I've ever been quite as disappointed as tonite and after 45 years of this that is saying something. We were a laughing stock and it was the biggest dick in RL ( Stevo ) and his mates that were laughing at us.
Oh well there's always the cup..............................................................

There won't be a thread about the culprit tonight, just like there wasn't one last week. Odd how that happens.

I didn't. Even leaving aside Agar's dismal record against Leeds I just had a feeling we'd be thinking about next week and not turn up tonight, regardless of any noises made to the contrary.
A real missed opportunity to gain 2 crucial points and lay down a marker for the CC game.

| Quote: HULLMAD "well said, we lose to leeds and everyones on suicide watch again'"
Not suicidal, just totally peed off with the whole situation.Paying good money to watch dross is not my idea of having a good time.Last night against a Leeds side, who themselves are struggling to find some sort of form,we looked hapless, disorganised and amaturish. When someone, I believe it was Stevo, point out that Hull fans needed binoculars to see our team,it is a sad reflection of the truth on how we were humiliated.

| I personally always believed that we'd lose both of these games against Leeds and nothing that I saw last night changed my mind. How people come to to the conclusion that "we'll be much better next week" and that "we'll win next week" truly baffles me. We'll be picking from the same bunch of players that didn't turn up last night and the same old problems will blight us as they always do.
All the hype surrounding the team following their victories over the likes of Wakefield and Salford was embarrassing and last night proved just how poor we are. Agar saying that the battle for 8th place is exciting just puts the icing on the cake for me - what an idiot. Does anyone know when the next Fan's Forum is? Can't wait to see Rule, Agar et al try and pass this season off as being one of progress....

| We had a similar period last year which was billed a season defining period (again think it was against Leeds for 4th?). What happened? We blew it big time, losing that game and the derby against the dobbins.
Fast forward 9 months or so and here we are again. When the chips are down we don't have the desire, skill, determination, intelligence or the application to win these games. We will never change until there is a complete overhaul of the coaching setup at Hull.
Hull aim for mediocrity and achieve mediocrity (just!!)

Good point, though the players looked pretty peed off last night when they came over to the fans. Agree with the rest though

| It was as though Agar had been watching videos of the Greek football teams Euro2004 win, where they played with 11 at the back and hoped to sneak a freekick/penalty in to grab a dour 1-0 win.
We reached a new low last night, not even having 1 clean break makes us the laughing stock of SL.
AGAR OUT!

| I notice the club hasn't bothered putting a match report online yet on the official website.

the spin computer will be on overdrive sorting the match report out
'Heroic HullFC complete 3billion and one tackles to keep the Rhino's at bay...if it wasn't for some 50/50 decisions from referee Richard Silverwood then a win was there for the taking. Thank you you faithful fans, buy your tickets for Sunday'
