It's the simple things like standing deep and hitting the ball at pace and at the advantage line. Also pressuring the attack when in defence, that I find the most annoying.



Don't get me wrong there is plenty more things that they should be doing but don't. But come on ffs there some of the basics and as professionals they should be doing them...

Totally agree, getting these two things up to scratch alone would improve our team tenfold, in this league you dont have to be awesome just get the basics right and youll win more than you lose!

Without Maunu's ability to leave 3 or 4 defenders the play would never work, opposition coaches will be aware of what he can do and make sure he is well covered (allowing Yeaman the space).



Also our PTB being so painfully slow doesn't help, allowing the defensive line to be all over us.

Surely our expert attacking coach can sort this out?

What really annoys me is we can all see that fighting for that quick ptb followed by two widish passes can immediately get you into an excellent passing position. So why can't the coaches see it? FFS it's not brain surgery.

I'd get rid of King and Thacks. I'd keep Radford and Tickle. I'd also allow Cusack to go as well as Motu. Thorman will go too.
I'd probably let G Horne and Whiting go too.

I'd keep Lee to rotate 9 with Houghton and here's the biggy thatw will be unpopular, i'd let Berrigan go too and free the cash up. We've carried his injuries for 2 seasons.

That's a big call, I might be inclined to agree with you tbh. We could use Lee and Houghton at hooker and sign a ball playing halfback with Berro's money. Use Horne at fullback and Tansey from the bench.

I'd be tempted to use Horne in the right centre if we signed a half and still use Tansey at FB. Would give us options anyway and i think we need a half more than we need Berro. We've looked a better side with Lee at 9 this season anyhow.
