Sorry but they are, not down to a lack of commitement or effort I just feel we have one of the worst squads in the league.

As for Berrigan he is class and our best player by a mile even at hooker which I dont think is his best position, would love us to be in a situation were we could play him in the centres, but we need him on the ball as often as possible, I would even consider playing him at 6 or 7 again.

If only the club adopted that mentality!

If we offer Player A the same money as we pay Berrigan believe me Player A will snap our fookin hand off no matter how we are !!!!

Dont't you think that with all his experience skill and knowledge of the game that he came over full of expectation and promise not only to FC but for himself also?

And do you think that despite his injuries and playing out of position for the good of the team most of last season (player of the year also), was done just to take the easy option/buck.

Have you considered that his thought process is probably too quick for those around him, and that he is in 'tempo' now with our game, because last season he was wayyyyyyyy ahead of anybody we had .

Do you also not think that his fitness skill and speed he had in Aus that gained International and SOO honours would hold him in good stead for SL and that he was more than willing and able to bring with him, to give something to our great club.

I believe he is far too good and is of a higher standard to those around him, I also believe that he has tried to lead by example, but again those around him let him down.
As said by someone else, Steven Gerraed would look sheite at Hull City.

And if Berrigan is on the pi$$ I for one wouldn't blame him because this amount of disillusionment is enough to drive any man to drink.

Yes, Berrigan last year played out of position and injured but was still head and shoulders above everyone. This year yes I personally do think the lazy feckers around him and sent him into a 'If they dont give a fook, why should I' attitude and yes again who can blame him !!!

What a shame our club has dissolved such a world class player into such a state !!!!

If you put Berrigan on a donkey he would try to win the Grand National, that's how commited he is to succeeding here.
He is playing to the 'standard' we are at, through no lack of effort or fault of his.

Some don't get it though

We sign a world class play him amongst , don't give him anything to work then blame him, some are clueless

Bet he still asks for a fourth year though !!
