I'd suggest (based on the above) that you're mixing with the wrong sort of people.

Rovers fans are the best for knowing our rumours, weirdly.

| I've heard that it's Daniel Anderson taking over, not McBanana
Oh sorry, I just made that up, like the people Potsys pal seems to have been talking to.

Don't be so silly, AP has appointed Jesus as new coach next season, Tomkins and Chase are nailed on and we've made a bid for Rooney as Jesus believes he could be the Holy Spirit.

I thought the rovers fan on their board said it was hull who trumped rovers.

| If Amor ends up at Rovers I'll be confused, would have thought he'd have better options. Not just a dig about us before Rovers fans start either, would have thought he should have a shot at Saints being interested. Seeing as they've just picked up a prop from Rovers & it's clearly a problem area for them, I'd struggle to understand why they'd bring in Beaumont and let Rovers pick up a better available player to replace him.

First up, Jake likes to try to wind us up and toy with our expectations, so he might just be doing that again.
But for the sake of argument, Saints have signed Masoe. They've got Walmsley and LMS too - Beaumont will be an inexpensive extra body. Amor would require a fee and a presumably much bigger wage/chunk of the cap.
Saints have only been well off because of McManus - the new stadium, might be helping, but we'll only know for sure when their figures for 2012 are released (if they haven't been already). We only struggle for cash, because our benefactors aren't quite as super-rich as some. It seems like we've got some new investment - personally I doubt it'll be on a scale to be transformative, but we could maybe afford Amor.

Can't see Saints struggling for cap space and that being the reason for Beaumont over Amor, though, as that would make handing out new contracts and pay rises to the likes of Turner when they still have a couple of years to run remarkably silly.
Don't they also finally get rid of Perry this year, who is supposedly on a small fortune?
