All they have to do is get off their backsides and actually put a proper shift in and do their jobs instead of just hoping the core fans will just keep turning up and doing their job of bringing new fans to the game for them. Too many involved particularly within the RFL are stealing a salary and have no real experience of qualifications to do what is required.
Until that is addressed the game with continues to flounder and lose ground and credibility.'"
The product has always been good even now when things like milking penalties and taking away added things like shoulder charges and fights it all added to it
A scrap is good it gets the crowd going and shows the players care
The rfl and clubs are both to blame, the clubs agreed to things like salary cap remaining so low due to a lack of ambition which is the biggest problem
RL has gone backwards whilst other sports have got bigger
Getting rid of Toronto was a terrible move they had 8,000 fans from scratch, even we didn't get 8,000 in Division 1

A scrap shows thugs at work.
Salary cap low not because of lack of ambition but because of lack of the readies.
Toronto were a busted flush and still have not paid the players their outstanding wages.

Toronto didn't receive any TV money whilst Catalan do
Not a single team could manage long without TV money look at the outcry from getting reduced sky payments now
A reduced sum is still alot more than nothing
Toronto didn't get a penny huge difference and they brought alot more than Leigh and other clubs ( Salford, Huddersfield, London ) who bring nothing to the pot

They knew the conditions before they started.
What did they bring? No away support. Getting 8000 home gates, including a lot of freebies does not benefit the game in any way. Playing matches on another continent with border restrictions, travel issues, time difference and having to have an imbalance in the home and away fixtures was the plan of people living in cloud cuckoo land.
Expansion can work as Catalan have proved. If this is to be developed then Europe is the way to go. Different continents need a different approach if they are to have a sustainable future and the people involved with the new clubs need to fulfill their obligations and not proceed with pie in the sky ideas.

| Cant see how Super League rejoining or becoming part of the RFL will make any difference. The RFL are half the problem
Best thing that could happen to Super League is for the NRL to buy it even it then becomes a feeder league (and would that be a bad thing anyway) - then the NRL can negotiate with Sky/Fox (same thing) a deal that will encompass the whole thing and give more money to Super League clubs - make it 16 clubs like the NRL too then shut up shop

I'd be wary, he's not as rich as he lets on (though still richer than most of us!) and is a loose cannon who I can't see sharing any decision making easily.

No thanks, need to stay clear, as you say far too much of a loose cannon and wouldn't be a good fit for the club on terms of the ethos AP has brought in to the club.

| The Koukash thing is a desperate ploy by Leigh to keep in SL and not relegate them I believe.

| AP needs some ideas to take Hull FC forward, let alone the sport in general.

Ideas as well as cash? Not looking promising is it?
