Absolutely. I wasn't actually suggesting we get rid. All I'm saying is that if we are looking to offload a forward to make space for signings, it would be a tough call on Thompson if he was the one ahead of others who haven't played as well, notably Tuson.

I think thompson will be an outstanding prop in 3 or 4 years time but tuson will never be anything more than an average 2nd rower. There is a reason he left wigan and signed for wakefield. Big mistake if we let thompson go IMO unless he has been signed on crazy money and we can bring someone better in for the same money

I still cant understand why Thompson wasnt given a run out at centre when we were struggling in that position.He had a decent try scoring record at Cas and would have been worth playing him there imo

There is no question about signing Taylor he has agreed a 4 year deal making him one of the highest paid players on Hulls books or so I am lead to believe

It must be for the money certainly wont be to improve his game under the current coach.
