I thought not all Hornes wage counted against the cap as he had been here more than 10 years ?

But we have Yeaman qualifying for that now, so it is back to a situation where we could save his whole wage from the cap.

I don't think many are - the 'details' they put out were vague and, my suspicion is, deliberately opaque. For several reasons I don't think the system is workable. I'm not sure it was even intended to be, beyond securing Sam Tomkins future in RL (and fair enough there, actually).
SL really needs to rationalise and streamline its rule book, rather than just adding new rules on the hoof - the squad restrictions are ridiculously complex now.

No idea , I know former Crusaders players were exempt from the Quota . Were there wages exempt from the cap as well.

Don't understand any fan saying they wouldn't want Chase. He's a great player and I'd have hom on a heartbeat. Same with Brough or Finch.

I would guess their wages didn't count on the cap. The RFL must have felt guilty about the demise of the Crusaders and they didn't want to see any players on the dole

Same here I'd take any of them but reckon we"ll end up with a unknown from aus , or someone who use to be first grade whos been dropped to the reserves .
