would only have been improved if he'd trotted out the "new balls" conspiracy as another defence of Fubar.

| Quote Mild mannered Janitor="Mild mannered Janitor"Do you honestly beleive that?
Leeds did the basics a lot better than Hull on Friday night. Due to the wet conditions they held posession better than Hull. They took fewer risks than normal due to the conditions and played a patient waiting game. Once they got their noses in front they knew Hull had to chase the game as, with a wet ball, we managed to knock it on more than we have done for the previous 3 games.
The only good think from Hulls point of view from Friday is that we defended well, especially close to our line. The problem was, with the weight of posession Leeds had we inevitably we not going to keep them out for ever.
The game was in the balance until a penalty under our posts ensured the game was dead and burried. That they scored twice after that was largely irrelevant.
Leeds played the conditions better. To suggest they were "shiite" shows your ignorance of the game.'"
Shiite was harsh....they were poor! any of the top 6 sides would have turned them over, the amount of ball they had and opportunities near our line supports the fact they were poor....to suggest otherwise shows your lack of knowledge on the game.

so in answer to the question ...Yes RA is the man for the job'"
Hull FC Sean Long 7 Apps Richard Horne 20 Apps
Saints Kyle Eastmond 14 Apps Leon Pryce 2 Apps
Strange how Saints can do ok without the first choice halfbacks.

hold on, L**ds were poor, but we could have won the game if we'd have been given some direction and change of tactics, that is my issue with Fubar, likewise bringing Fitz back (or letting Fitz decide he was playing) and shipping Westerman out of the way when he'd made so much impact on previous games.
Let's not lose sight of the real issue here, there is only one person (so far) suggesting that Agar is the man for the job, the majority of people realise that Agar isn't taking us forward, the majority of people that were happy to support Agar (some through gritted teeth) are accepting he has to move on for the club to succeed.

Agree with it all...No secret I was pro-Agar at one point but the facts became apparent..
What I truly struggle with about Friday is we were clearly playing a forwards game, yet it became embarrasingly apparent after 20 minutes this was not working...we came out the 2nd half and did the same

Not sure why your struggling with it. We have been the same all the time under Agar. If plan A (and i use the word PLAN loosely) does not work he does not change it around. The only time we change things is when it is forced upon us die to injuries.
Barring Saints last year i cannot think of any other game were we have turned it around in the 2nd half. Plenty were other teams have against us because their coach has seen exactly how we are playing and made the correct changes to counteract it.

| I am a very very old fan but fairly new to this site. I am not being funny or confrontational but is this icecreamann really James Rule or Kath? He always seems to respond with a long drawn out /fairly calculated spin/response regarding Mr. Agar a few days after a defeat and subsequent discontentment topics.i.e giving himself or others time to "spin" a good "spin". Yet as someone hinted previously when we win and he feels a spin isn't necessary he pops up quicker than a pop tart. I could be very wrong obviously (hes going to say I am regardless!!) but his obvious passion for Mr. Agar is soooo the opposite of that of the vast majority of the fans I cannot help but suspect he is somehow not all he seems. Warrington was indeed a great win (yes I was there too). It does not however come close to making up for the countless and many disappointments we have endured and sadly witnessed during his reign. Mr Agar is driving fans away, the view as a spectator at the kc doesn't lie. He claimed he would walk away if he wasn't up to the job, he isn't, he hasn't, BUT HE SHOULD!! He is unsettling and in some instances driving away lifelong fans and more importantly he is taking the very heart and passion out of watching our beloved team. He probably is a very nice guy, with a good heart and very good intentions, he isn't however imo (and many many others), the man to steer The Mighty FC to real progression, successes and silverware. Many of us have given him our support and indeed time to turn things around in a positive way, but enough is now enough.

| In short - No -
I think he will be given about 10 games next season, and if he ain't done anything with what will be HIS squad, then he will be gone.
Slighty off subject, what does Washy actually bring to Hull FC ?

No he is not Rule or Agar, and he is more than one person, some-times he cannot spell and puts very few words on, other days like today he composes an essay with decent spelling, other times he is quite articulate..he also forgets what he has posted the day before, the only common denominator with who ever posts under that name is that they all talk shiite..
Any-way welcome to the board
