i think the club have a problem with banners generally as my dobbins 25 years without a trophy banner was forcibly removed by the stewards at the derby last season,stewards said they were following orders from HIGHER POWERS

Thanks for that and I see and agree with what you are saying, I hope we have turned a corner. The trouble is we have had numerous occassions in the last three years similar to this and these have all faded away.

We have to try and keep together, we can disagree but we must respect each others views.

The two pi***d up fans were all up for causing a bit of trouble with their fellow supporters in the car park!! Pretty sad t***s when that's how they want to behave.Everyone is entitled to an opinion,but when certain fans decide on getting sozzled to the point of arguing or threatening fellow fans,it's a sad day.

Most dictators are by there very title, murderous .

I could have used different ones from recent times Sadam,Honicker, Pol Pot, or even Chauchesku. The Libyan regime is certainly no better then them and stiffling oppostition is all part and parcel of oppression.


I have a relation who is out in the theatre serving his country to oppose the Gaddafi regime and I would certainly not wish to downgrade or insult anything that him or the job our armed services are doing in our name .

To blow this out of all proportion and over look everthing else is fairly typical of some posters on here at times. I have complained before about posters on here being shouted down, belittled etc and I can see why they no longer even look at the board any more.

I didn't comment on the rest of your post because, by and large, I agreed with the sentiments. The Gadaffi thing just leapt out as tasteless and OTT, an opinion I stand by. I neither belittled you nor shouted you down, I simply expressed an opinion on something you posted.

If you look at the rest of the thread I've agreed that the club were wrong to request the removal of the banner(s) and that Quins were wrong to agree to do so. I simply didn't feel the need for extra drama when doing so.

The club have the banner taken down yesterday and then today they get Ja Rule and Mark O'Meley to come out saying what an unbelievable performance it was at The Stoop. I just wish the club would stop putting out 'spin' all the time - it's doing them no favours at all. All we needed after yesterday was Agar's reaction and maybe that of one of the players who was actually involved in the game. Ruley needs to keep himself out of the media and let the team do the talking on the pitch.

To be fair to Rule (as much as I hate doing so) he can't win, as CEO he is the public face of the business, especially if Agar's position is in question (as I am sure it will be, albeit eventually)

We won, simple fact is that was the outcome, what we need to do is to get to a point where we've won more than we've lost, and that day is a fair way off.

Rule was also prepared to talk to supporters before the game at the front of the east stand,which he could have avoided if he wished to.

TBF I didn't believe my wife at first when she told me that we'd come back to win from that position.
