They do fail to point out that most of them are what the last tory administration did by forcing people off unemployment onto long term sick, incapacity benefit.

This Government

has stopped long term incapacity benefit to new claimants and is about to tackle the old claimants.

Its just differing ways each of the two tory parties we have in power at different times of presenting the figures to us.

2 million have never worked?...the thing is when i was unemployed when i was 18 i had to prove each week what i had done to find work and they would check. they even put me on bridging allowance as i could not prove it beyond a reasonable doubt one time and that was 15 quid a fortnight!!!

Greencore dont make me laugh. I was at a4e a few months ago got forsed into a job at green core. dont get me wrong I am glad of a job but if I had known how bad greencore is I would have flat out refused. The staff are extreamly abusiv and managment dont want to know. and let me state I advise anbody not to eat products from greancore as hygiene is a joke along with h+s.

I agree that benifits should pay out less than minimum wage however I was on better money in the dole queue.

as for a4e I will give them credit they got me a job even though i was forsed into it after about 3 days of been there but the place is a joke, you are given activities to go count the steps on a building, some groups get taken to laser quest, just how does going to laser quest find you a job? also the techer if you want to call them that couldnt be ar$ed and repetedly told people to go away for a few hours and have a few joints. how is telling people to go do drugs helpful.

one of the main reasons for places like A4E as i can see it is to get people of the unemployment figures. as when you are at A4E even though you are still collecting your dole you arnt classed as unemployed.
