| I was one who was clapping the Celtic players and I don't really care what people think of that. 5 mins later I was cheering Hull and was clapping the team at the end.
The cheering of Celtic moment was for me an outlet for me to display my displeasure at the way our team are just turning up and not putting any effort in. In no way do I want Hull to get beat but that moment was all about releasing frustration that has built up.
The fans will get behind the players when they put effort in as they did in the last 10 and they will also get behind them when we are getting beat providing they play well.
I find it hard to believe that one week Agar can critisise players for not performing but according to some fans we cant display our feeling about player effort. I agree it is unfair that players performing well are tarred with the same brush but thats the way it is, it will only give them more reason to turn on the under performers.

| First time last night i think that i have never applauded a single try from my team.
Even when we took the usual 60 odd point defeats at Pies, Saints , leeds , Bulls id still applaud consolation try

He has every right to go on record with it if it affects tghe performance on the pitch.
Never thought I would see the day that a Hull team or a Hull player were boo'ed whilst actually playing by our own fans. At the end of a game or on a discussion forum is one thing, but being slated by those who claim to follow you through thick and thin whilst they are trying to do something about it shows how poor some of the fans are.
Well, this is most definately a thin time. What ever happend to supporting the 13 out there in black and white. Or is this the reaction of those fans who think we have some divine right to win or have never known the really bad times.
FFS START SUPPORTING THE TEAM WHILST THEIR PLAYING.
SLATE THEM ALL YOU LIKE AFTERWARDS!!

But according to your earlier post, the coach isn't allowed to voice his opinion???
Yep, that seems fair

| Quote spegs="spegs"Agars response to the fans booing:
"Were all frustrated and it's a tough time. We have got a nervous team that is low on confidence and it's not helping"
Listen you f*cking idiot, the team is low on confidence because they have no leader, they have no leader because you are out of your depth, you are out of your depth because you do not have the ability to coach a team at this level. The rugby we play is p*ss poor and it IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to sort this.
I am not sure if it is a lack of intelligence or plain ignorance but take a look in the mirror, then leave my club alone.'"
Well said.

There were no cheers, just a polite round of applause followed by a round of laughter after O'Hara gave the South stand the thumbs up. Why did the Southstand feel the need to applaud the opposition? Because there was only one team on the bloody pitch who gave a , and it wasn't FC.

| Look at it this way, those that went last night had every right to applaud the Celtic try. Let's face it, it was hardly a night of entertaining rugby and full of grit and determination was it?
The commentators struggled to concentrate on the game it was that poor, so when Celtic scored it was one of the highlights of the game, and IMO rightly got applauded.
At the end of the day if you pay your money you have the right to cheer anyone you like. If Agar DID critisize the fans then he is a fool and is walking a tightrope. The thing is fans have long memories and they will always have this at the back of their minds now.
Not many coaches in any sport get to stay in a job very much longer once they start critiscizing the fans. In fact Megson at Bolton is the only one i can think of (and he had a right to have a go at the fans after the way he was treat by them)
The board are not stupid and they know the fans are fed up with the dross that has been served up for the majority of the last 17 games. To confound it the coach then appears to have a dig at them. I feel his time is now up.

I am not going to labour the point,as people can do what they like, but where I was in the east stand,I could hear cheering when Celts scored the try.Maybe my age is getting to me and I am hearing things.

| Last week Agar publicly stated that some of the players are not making rugby a high enough priority. He effectively said that the players aren't showing enough commitment. What did he expect the fans' reaction to be?

Especially when he seems to not do anything about their lacklustre performances. He makes excuses like they arent his players, they arent up for games, he'll drop the under performers and then he doesnt.
And now to knock the fans, he can f*ck off now for me, ive had enough.
