No one remembers the LLS winner, I'd much sooner secure second and be able to rest a few in the wire match so we're fresh for a home semi rather than effectively playing another final for the LLS and having an emotional/physical hangover like last week.

To be honest I thought last night we should have won and created the chances on the first 40mins but daft errors or wrong options saw us fail to capatilise. Then in the 2nd half we got sucked into the arm wrestle that Wigan wanted. We backed off from our usual game in the 2nd half. For me Wigan didn't win it we lost it and not often this season have we said that since the Widnes debacle. So fir me losing last night I ain't too disappointed as we also seemed to have a few players with knocks last night Mini, Taylor & Tank.
Still not convinced Carlos at 6 works for us but Sika Manu has come into his own in the latter part of this season.

I guess it depends on your understanding of the term creative. You have been successful due to having a number of outstanding individuals and a superb pack who should have buried Wigan. But I don't think the sum of those parts is anywhere near as good as it could be with imaginative teamwork rather than individualism. Just because you got close to their line doesn't mean you were creative. You needed to be creative to get over that line.

In the context you were talking about, creative I would take to mean creating opportunities and we created enough to win 2 games so yes, we were creative. We weren't very clinical in finishing off those chances we CREATED though

You cannot win every game. Invariably the winner of the Challenge Cup suffers a defeat in the following league game. We were widely expected to rest key players at St Helens and lose to a team hitting form of late and who had a fortnight's break. To win there would have been a bonus. What's so hard to understand?

It's getting a little tiresome now. FC's record this year, stands up to any scrutiny. The "not creative" accussation stems from Chris Sandow's unsportsman like comment after the final, when he complained about Hull only scoring off kicks. Only someone with a jealousy complex or an idiot would pick up on it and put it through the wringer as many times as you. They also went into the game without 3 days of celebrations. I made a post the week before Wembley saying I wouldn't be fit to travel to Saints, if we won.
