Great news, on the pitch still one of the best in SL.

Only slight negative is Ellis time on the pitch played about 60% of games last year and about the same so far this year, he will be on a big salary (although took a pay cut last season).

We are desperate for another half and possible another centre, so I hope with the signing of Ellis and Mini we still have some money left over.

On the subject of Micheals I personally believe that he has been outstanding for us even though his wing has been targeted quite often to good effect.

green and bowden will be looking for upgrades and a number of youngsters OOC who will be looking for more money if we keep them

I think we should release all the players you've listed as there's no room for sentiment. We also need to reduce the age of the squad. Michaels has done well but we should be looking for better with his quota place.

Even with upgrades we should be looking at a significant amount left on the cap maybe £250k? Speculation I know.

Good point about Houghton.

On my wish list is a quality NRL centre and hopefully Brough. I don't think they'll be many additions as we already have good depth.

Leader on and off the field , Even at 34 I still think he's one of the best second rows in SL . Pleased with the news .

Wouldnt surprise me to see Michaels offered an extension to his contract.
Well liked and respected by the club and hid team mates.
Gets undeserved flack from some on here for trying to cover up others mistakes.

Problem is he takes up a valuable quota spot in a position we have cover in (lancaster and naughon). We need to start giving lancaster some more game time IMO

Hearing R dean might be on his way, and we are in for benji , interesting times

Lancaster is nowhere near ready for regular first team duty and needs to really work on taking a high ball.
He is one who would really benefit going out on loan.

Reece isn't ready to play SL if kr think he is the answer then they will come unstuck.
