| Good effort tonight but as ever the challenge is now to keep this form up until the end of the season. shame about the injuries, but there may now be a chance for harry tyson wilson to partner horne - the mix of experience and youth. i can't see radford using miller again
i also thought the standard of officiating tonight was pretty good - we've certainly seen worse here

well done? You control 80% plus of the game and come away with just a point and it is a well done? As good as a defeat when you dominate like that and come away with a point.

Made Sinfield's head-butt look pretty lame didn't it. Don't expect there'll be the same amount of outrage though

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |

that's the point I was making you were so in control with 20 to go it must feel like a defeat but it must be good knowing sneyd will be playing for you next season

| Good to see the effort but our inadequacies in offence were again laid bare.
In some ways the performance was more important than the result given that the season has gone. That said it's another winless night, six games without a victory and we only have seven in the 'W' column from twenty-two games.

| Still not impressed, its all well and good putting an effort in when the season is dead and buried...and we still bombed a decent lead and clung on for a point.
the lack of quality in the squad is plain for all to see, even basics like passing just aren't up to standard.
still it wasn't as bad as I expected, the game was entertaining despite being pretty low quality, and a few players like Westerman played well. But overall I can't help the feeling that Sneyd & Pryce alone aren't going to turn this around on their own, still need a decent coach and several top quality players.

and now two key squad members (possibly) injured in Rankin and Abdul... *sigh* ...

I thought Sneyd played well but it was Clarke who changed the game for Cas.
Hull tried to slow the game down in the last 25 mins.Whether that was a deliberate tactic I don't know but it didn't work and allowed Cas to come back.
I said Rankin is turning out to be a first class goalkicker. Its a pity now that it looks like his season could be over.

| Hope the 2 half backs are ok neither looked good, rankins especially looked a possible a season ender.I suppose if you get a huge amount of possession and only score 18 pts you probably dont deserve to win and with child treating you to all the fifty fifties you will be disappointed but a point is better than nothing.Thought sneyd looked quality but for his goal kicking, how cas scored 4 tries to 3 with limited ball is unreal, but its a point better than us who were thrashed by cas twice and also picked up a load of injuries.

| Disappointing night for me. Huge amount of effort but no real attacking threat. We have the slowest 3/4's in SL and it caught up with us tonight. He must add some pace to that backline of our new halfs will be a waste of money. Game went for me when rankin went off. I knew we'd lose our shape but also thought he should have brought hadley back on for sa when they were cutting us open on our right edge.
We offered very little with ball in hand and our passing is woeful

Hard to argue that Sinfields wasn't deliberate - I'd be surprised if anyone outside of Hull and Stevo believe it was a deliberate knee to the head ...
He deserves a ban, he has due care to consider, but I'd say 1-2 games

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

| thought we were guilty of one man rugby at times, but the determination was there. Biggest issues for me are conditioning and how we hack at the defence like a blunted axe when we're near the line, not to take anything away from the Cas defence which was excellent.

We didn't challenge the defence at all. I was thinking with 15 minutes to go it was a very effective one man rugby performance but didn't really turn out that way. I thought cas were poor but mainly because our defence was excellent for the first 65 minutes or so
