| Quote: Superbowl Scott "Most have made minds up already with regards to Seymour. He did fall of some tackles in the last 20 as did most but people forget the first 60mins.'"
You do realise he's played more than once for us. I've made my mind up on him after watching him for a season, he's not very good. Seems some are happy with his inability to do most things any decent scrum half find second nature. There's always a reason for his average performances fwds fault/carrying an injury/unfamiliar partner. However the common factor is him.

Exactly. Ablett had made plenty of players look daft, he's a horrible thing but a massive threat.
You owe me a beer dont you ?

| After watching the game back from last night I'm just wanna hit back at a few who really don't understand rugby is a game of momentum.
Firstly if anyone thinks Seymour was poor last night wants shooting. The guy was a trojan in defence and showed some FC defenders leaving a lot to be desired. The shear fact he was poor offensively was because he Leeds forwards dominated for large parts of the game. Sort the forwards out and get them winning individual battles then you'll see Seyour and Holdworth flourish. If they don't I'll happily hold my hand and say I was wrong.
Secondly we matched the champions quite well for the best part of an hour, with in my opinion a good performance from young Jason Crookes. Leeds were always going to attack our right hand side. It's relatively small in Crookes, Arundel and Seymour defending. With them finding Ellis was out too only fuelled their game plan.
Thirdly early on in the second half, if things had gone a little differently and the gods were looking down on us, you'd all be calling for Seymour to get man of the match with a try he missed by a matter of inches and a grubber kick to Yeaman that bounced too high at the vital time. This would probably put us 6-18 up against the champions away on the first game of the season with a new team structure. Although my thoughts on this point are hypothetical , they are completely rational and anyone who knows and follows and possibly played RL , knows this could have quite easily have happened , spirit and belief in this new set of players would have been up( after it been damaged with the injury to their captain in the warm up ) then who knows what might have happened.
But the fact is, it didn't happen for us. I'm not bothered. You get up, you dust yourself down and you carry on. Things will be learnt juking the week and we'll be better for it.
It's unfortunate Leeds went on to get a shoreline like they did, and that for me is the ONLY down side to this defeat.
Sorry if you don't agree but if you do your probably the type that dwells on the negative. This I'm afraid is not me, and I'm looking forward to a much improved turn out against Bulls next week.

At least you admit you've already made your mind up about him.

| i hope we give seymour n holdsworth at least 5 games together to gel as heremaia isnt a 7 & is more effective in the hooking role, especially as houghton isnt firing on all cylinders n his dummy dummy pass routine is too predictable.
weve tried putting round pegs in square holes at half back for years now n it just hasnt worked.
incidently mat king was gash in his first season at warrington n he didnt turn out too bad did he

Why how long should it take to make up one's mind about any player?

Good analysis. + I'd almost forgotten about Seymours near-try at what was a pivotal point of the game.

Matt King was a proven quality player before he got here, SoO/Aussie international. You're right he took time to settle. Seymour has brought his Aussie form with him, average.

| It's Brett's fault that Auntie Kaff signed him.
It's Brett's fault that Pearson said he wanted rid of him, in a roundabout way.
It's Brett's fault that Pearson proceeded to fail in signing either Rangi or Scotty.
It's Brett's fault that he always appears to give 100%.
It's Brett's fault....................................

| Open your eyes,he's been here over a year, this isn't one game syndrome, the blokes just not good enough,we'll see what happens for the rest of the season and I'll guarantee that it will be the same as the previous season,he's on a par with Thorman.
It isn't Brett's fault,he's just not very good.
