I'm hopeful of a convincing victory this evening. We are at the opposite end of the table to Salford and have home advantage. I think a win by 20 or so points should be achievable.

Don't know why people think that Salford are "whipping boys"???
We won't put 50 past them thats for sure.
Take away their very poor game against warrington, the most points they have conceded all season is 36.
Leeds 22-10
Wigan 18-4
Saints Lost 42-34
Warrngton 27-10

I'm beginning to think we will never put 50 past a side again.
We havn't done it in a competative game in 104 attempts and the last time we did it against a Superleague team was 30th April 2006 against Wigan.

Possibly. Although you could as easily say that a side that finished 11th and 12th in the previous two seasons and is only halfway through restructuring from several seasons of poor recruitment and retention probably wouldn't. And that's without mentioning the disruptions to the squad this season.

Likewise. We don't have the players to really hammer a side yet, although getting all our first choices (particularly in the halves) on the pitch together for a few games in a row would increase our chances significantly. |

Do you get any more points for winning a game by 60 than 20? Winning by 60 would be nice but after the last 2 seasons just winning is nice. I'd take a season like 2006 were we won most games tight and got to the GF over a season like 2004 were we hammered some teams but didn't even win a play off game. |
