| Burgess is one of the few players who seems to be able to offload the ball almost at will. He went well again tonight, and it was his hard work to find the floor and get a quick play of the ball that gave Souths their opening try tonight.
It's no coincidence that Champion and Merritt are scoring plenty of trys between them this year. Burgess draws so much attention from opposition defenders with his running game (with and without the ball) and the players outside of him are really reaping the benefits!

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Souths were very good tonight, but NQ were really poor. IIRC, they only had 4 sets of 6 inside our 20 meters in 80 minutes of footy. We rolled over the top of them tonight. Their forwards had no answer to the constant attacking threat posed by big Dave Taylor, Sammy and Ben Lowe. Garrett Crossman did a big stint too. Luke was good out of dummy half, and Chris Sandow actually had a good night with his boot tonight. Michael Bani must have wondered what he had done to deserve the constant punishment he recieved from Taylor and co tonight
no it wasn't me mate.
Do you think luke will get a ban for the charge on thurston?

NSW have announced a 21 man squad, the first time in origin history I believe, to cover the judiciary meeting.
Haynes already been found not guilty.
Slater didn't have a case to answer and Queensland have done the unthinkable and picked Falou.

the balance of the squad is bizarre though. 3 props, 1 winger, a stand off who may miss the game due to his wife been heavily pregnant, a player(bird) contacted about his a availibility then not picked.
Seems the selectors have lost the plot.

| It's funny that Aussie test selectors refuse to pick any player who chooses to play " RL" in England but Queensland pick Falou who is changing codes.

I would have had Bird at 13 with Barrett and Pearce in the halves. Would use Gidley off the bench.

| Agar gets slagged off for his use of the bench but thankfully he's never put 3 backrowers there!

Must be a third Hull fan in Aus then! haha.
Im not sure tbh, to me, there wasn't that much in it, but the way the disciplinary seem to be pushing hard to protect kickers ever more so this year, I can see him missing the Broncos game on Sunday
What do you think to Lang picking both Luke Capewell and Jamie Simpson on the bench for Sundays game? I find it a bit baffling tbh!

I think player power within the QLD team made sure Izzy wasn't dropped for game 2. They have such a good team ethic within the squad up there, and I think Mal and the selectors dropping Folau would have dammaged that, somewhat.

It's a better looking side than the first one, the bench looks a bit strange to me though and I can't believe Bird never got a look in. Is Lyon injured?

| I watched the Canberra /Titans game last night . Raiders have been a bit hit and miss this season but they played some good open rugby at times . I like the fullback Dugan , A real handful for the Titans at times before he got injured . Good entertaining game .

I finished that game off last night, cracking game. I was willing the Titans over the line in the last few minutes. Prince was class and I love watching Preston Campbell.
