This post sums up the club perfectly,an acceptence of mediocrity, 1 pt from the two games against wakey,including under agar beating us here,2 losses to our neighbours,yet a huge win away to widnes seems to paper over the cracks again.How low down the league do we have to finish before either pearson sacks radford or radford keeps his promise to walk.Somehow I dont think either is going to happen,do you ?

Usually an online interview with Pearson suffices in placating some. He tells everyone how great the future is going to be and everyone forgets how crap it currrently is. Like his last one, the one in which he said how great the second half of the season would be. Well since he said that we've picked up 1 point from 6.

pearson gambled on an inexperienced coach and currently the gamble isn't paying off. Will it start to pay off before he has to bit the bullet and sack him? Who knows but he surely can't afford to leave it too long next season if it doesn't.

I seriously doubt even you could point to the team's performances being dependent on Standee's attendance

Not saying our performances are standees fault..but its like me moaning about train delays when i travel to work in car!

train delays would have no impact on your ability to get to work, I support Hull FC and they are not performing, as a supporter it is my right to make observations and have an opinion. The fact that you don't like it only makes it more valid!

a supporter supports his team by going to watch them no matter how far away they live..you just are negative on anything to do qith FC.

In fact, by not constantly blowing warm air up the club and saying what I see, some would argue I am MORE of a supporter, but I don't see a hierarchy of supporter, my Aunt has been dead over 15 years, she is still an FC supporter in the eyes of many.

For me to go to a home game it's a 12 hour round trip and costs £100 in fuel alone. For this reason I don't go very often these days either. In fact I've only been to 3 games this season. Am I not a supporter either?

You go to a few games so you are a supporter.

My point was you don't have to go every week to be a supporter. I don't agree with a lot of the things Standee says but he obviously cares about the club. If he lived locally I'm sure he would go more often, but as with myself and countless other people who have moved away from Hull for whatever reason, even if it is possible to go to games it's often hard to justify the time, effort and money to go. That doesn't mean we don't care. It's easy for someone like you who lives in Hull to criticise someone for not going, but would you still go regularly if every home game took longer to get to than any away game (Catalans aside)?

I have not criticised anyone, I just don't like the way standee pulls apart the whole setup off the club, he can't possibly see the whole goings on by listening to gwillym on a Friday evening.

He is just putting his opinion across and you don't have to agree with it. People could argue they don't like the way you think everything Radford does is perfect.

As for the Fan/Supporter thing, I believe Standee has been to at least one game this year so that would make him a supporter in your eyes. Personally I think anybody who cheers the team on from the ground, the radio or the internet is just as much a supporter as anyone else.



The sad thing in all this is that we have scores of fans drifting away from the club and the game itself as the become wholly disinterested. And we have plenty of those who still go and follow the team arguing among themselves as they filter into pro/anti Radford groups.

I don't see good in everything Radders does, I've just posted I don't want another coach sacked so early, as in have said before I didn't want Gentle sacked, & standee is a bloke to want it to go wrong for Radders to gloat & say told you so, & this would be wrong in my eyes, I have always said Miller isn't good enough for hull but I would have loved it & have posted in the past for him to prove me wrong as this would have been good for our club, but I've never come on this forum & said told you his rubbish to gloat because I am a fan & a supporter, & only want good for FC not players & staff to fail.
