| Good signing. Very good replacement and I'm quite happy with our backrow for next season. Ellis, Westerman, Whiting, Tuson, Pitts, with younger players like Hadley, looks decent on paper.
I do have a lot of concern for our front row, though. O'Meley was one of our toughest players who never took a backwards step and I don't think that we've yet found a replacement for that, nor have we for Lynch's big shift in defense.
So far I think our back row is stronger but our front row is weaker so a new prop signing is a must.

Depends on Green's form and how Paleaaesina does IMO. With both playing well, yes Ellis in the back row. But if Paleaaesina is rubbish, or if/when Green has a sloppy spell (which he does tend to have, as does Watts), I think we might need him to take over Lynch's mantle in the middle. Our prop options contain more gambles/unknown quantities and inconsistent players than the back row, so If Ellis was to move up it could address that a bit. Obviously unless we sign another good prop.

What's different in Tuson when compared to Westerman, Whiting and Pitts is the aggression that he puts into everything he does. Everything is 100% with a mean nice bloke face, he won't take a step back. Aggression is something our pack lacks.'"
Ok, maybe much was too far, but I still think tickle offers more in attack than Tuson.
I just feel we need an attacking 2nd row and we haven't got one. For me you described Ellis, whiting and Westerman.
The best chance we have is to use Westerman out wide more.

You'll get no disagreement from me on that.

Paea is easily O'Meleys replacement. Feka is Lynch's.
To my mind, they are both improvements. Lynch suffered 'second-season syndrome'. O'Meley's body was hammered, so if we had got another season out of him, it wouldn't have been much.

As it stands I cant see how Feka is an improvement on Lynch, while Lynch wasnt as good as his first season, he certainly wasn't as poor as people made out, his Stats are still very impressive and he finished the season strongly.
I actually think Chris Green is the player to step into Lynch shoes and Feka is an addition.
Paea is a better player than O Meley though.
If Feka turns out to be a diaster, then we are only left with Watts and Paea as experienced props, so I would still like us to add another prop.
I would look at would be Scruton, Poore or Huby.

Young Wilson ( who we won't see to much of next year)
And another big lad a proper prop.'"
We need another prop regardless. But with the poster saying move PJ to the back row. We'll then need two prop.

| He's an OK player but we really needed another experienced prop. Johnson is too small, Bowden and green I'm not sure will really ever reach the required standard.

Agree with this.
What makes me laugh is how massively underrated people are saying he is. He was signing for wakey for a reason . If we had got him instead of Thompson then great but both leaves us too many back rows and stifling our own youth the very thing we are trying to promote!

| The only thing I have ever really noticed Tuson do is the fight against Saints at the Magic Weekend a couple of years back. Dont know if that is me being ignorant, or him not really doing anything that stands out

This.
He clearly wouldn't leave Wigan unless he knows that first team rugby will be limited next season. His "offer" from Wigan must be a fantastic one if Wakefield were able to gazump it.

| Didn't we have to put up with hearing about Eamon O'Carroll bringing Wigans winning culture with him too?? Look how that turned out.
Decent signing but the spin does my nut in.

Correction, Wakefield had every right to force Chris Tuson to honour his contract but the change in ownership and the recent revelations that finances weren't as good as they should meant that Tuson hadn't had the correct facts at hand when deciding to join Trinity.
In light of the much poorer position, New Wakefield Chairman Michael Carter decided that the moraly correct thing to do was to give Tuson the option of walking away.

| Tuson will be a good addition for you. Not a player who will propel you into the top 4 but will help you on your way, I'd be playing him at 13 if I was Radford. Think your another prop away from competing/matching some of the other packs in the league.
