| This hype over pryce is a bit silly tbh. Most people have just seen a few choice clips where he’s used some excellent footwork, and then the media have hyped him up and all of a sudden he’s England material. It’s really unfair on him to put this pressure on him they have. I think you are going to be a bit disappointed if you are expecting to see a master class. The last few games he’s played he’s been solid, with the odd flash of what he may be capable off as his experience grows. Nowhere near the finished article.

| I know not many agree with Bonaire and there’s many times I’ve not agreed the posts but I don’t feel the need to constantly pick or try to ridicule anyone. We are all I assume adults but the forum is becoming more like a kids squabble.
I don’t see the issue with the post myself as think it’s a valid point as they are two very different types of HB and I agree that against Leeds McNamara had probably his best game for us and seems to be improving under the guidance of Gale.
We will never all agree but it gets tedious reading the forum full of back biting instead of general chat and opinions on the club we all love.

Fingers crossed he has a quiet game.
I remember when he stepped through us away at Hudds last year, it was the start of our decline for 2021. But couldn't help notice his running style is so similar to Leon's.

I thought I read an NRL club were interested in him - his stock is definitely high at the moment.

People are entitled to express an opinion, even it is negative and contrary to yours, the patterns of replies and arguments on here would not be tolerated in the workspace, some of it is almost a default reaction. Pathetic , absolutely infantile. Get over yourselves and we may be able to enjoy this forum again without trawling through arguments, equally childish counter arguments and reposting.'"
Would calling people pathetic and infantile be tolerated in the workplace?

| Was the opposite side of the ground from us but Pryce's tip tackle looked awful.

It was a bad one. Can see him getting 3/4 games.

Think if going by the punishments handed out for very minor offences then I can’t see Pryce getting less than minimum 5 games. It has to be one of the worst seen for a long time and he’s lucky he didn’t do any serious damage to Connor Wynn.

Yeah it was pretty bad.
Ian Watson says that Pryce is devastated at what happened. I guess he'll just have to take his punishment and treat it as a learning process.

| Quote: bonaire "Have been highly critical of Ben McNamara as a half back but i thought he had his best game for the club at Leeds and offered a bit more of a running game which has been missing from his general play previously.
Its a pity that it seems Will Pryce will play full back tomorrow as it would have been interesting to see the contrast in style of these two young players at half back especially the running game and blistering pace of Pryce'"
So in summary, I take it Ben comfortably came out on top today!

Yes it would if it was not an individual being singled out, but I did expect something like that, if you are addressing a pattern of behaviour that spoils the whole ambience and environment for the majority, without a doubt. It is appropriate, accurate and obviously, to the point.

| It's a bad one from Pyrce, he is a young kid and did show remorse, but he is lucky he didn't end Wynne season or worst, so should be looking at a long ban, probably 5 games plus.
Imagine if it had been Connor.

There'd be an outcry wouldn't there? It gets worse each time I view it, missed it yesterday, still recovering from covid , but the radio didn't actually make it sound that bad- thats got to be a minimum 8 games, a young Aussie lad died as a result of similar, that is how serious the consequences can be. Awful tackle, sure he regrets it but lets not allow that to detract from what is a very serious incident, very possibly the worst we'll see this season.

There can be no doubt that that was a very very bad tackle and no matter whether Pryce intended it or not (which I very much doubt he did) the fact is that it could have been more than just a career ending tackle and Wynn has been so lucky he wasn't seriously injured.
Yes Pryce certainly seemed distressed and remorseful at the time (hopefully because he'd realised the seriousness of what he'd done and not just for getting a red) but non the less these are the tackles that need punishing severely as opposed to the 2/3 bans we've seen so far for almost minimal contact with the head. I think he will be a very relieved young man that he didn't cause a serious injury and accept any ban that will surely come.
If its not more than 5 games I'd be disappointed and very surprised even for a player with a clean record such was the seriousness of the tackle in being beyond reckless.
