| Quote: Staffs FC "OK - clearly we have a lot to do to be anything like a decent side. But the quality of the tries we scored today was very high. A few weeks ago it was claimed we were a dire one out boring team. The tries scored today were anything but that. It deserves some credit along with the criticism of other areas. It doesn't surprise me that there is little if any credit but I've no problem in mentioning a rare positive.'"
We will still be a dire one out boring team though next week and the week after that, it is just what we've become and have unfortunately come to expect.
Pleased we scored some decent tries but that is such a rarity now a days.
And unfortunately amongst the fan base there is very little good will left such is the level we have now found ourselves at in all aspects from the attitude of the owner to the below average coach to some of the playing staff.
Wakefield were a team we'd expect to beat comfortably and the fact we are now crowing about a tight victory over them shows how bad we are.
Instead of closing the gap on the top all we are doing is consolidating our place in the lower echelons of SL.
Like I said I'm pleased we've won but I can no longer find the excitement or enjoyment to celebrate a victory.
I'd rather we changed our coach, our style of play and bring the excitement and fun factor back to actually make people want to attend again.
So I will regrettably remain discouraged until this mess is put right.
I know my attitude will offend some of the fans on here but so be it, we've lost too and scraped past Wakefield.

| happy we won yesterday, like someone said on a different topic, we made it hard work like we did against a patched up Salford side. also as said a couple of tries were top draw. defensively I thought we were poor, miller again was out to prove a point. think we gave them few easy tries. players still looked dis-heartened.
for me the plus point was logan and micheals. I thought they played well together and both had good individual games. for me logan has to keep his place for the rest of the season in the centre. sa to me looks better at 2nd row, maybe not on todays showing but in general. bin man looks better on the wing also.
hats off to wakey, they played well, played for each other and can see the smith factor in them. but with the pressure off them, you can understand why they can play without fear.
on another note, thought the ref had a stinker! wakey were never back 10, some really bad calls throughout

cartoons/WB17.gif I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.
Money doesn't talk it swears, Obscenity who really cares, Propaganda all is phony.
I'm the son and heir of a shyness which is criminally vulgar.
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way.

| A much needed win. Very nervy at times which may be a result of recent games. We had to stop the rot somehow and to that end the win was welcome.
Performance wise, it was still sub standard overall. Too much panicky rugby, particularly inside the 20, but again that may be due to a confidence issue. There were some decent tries scored though when the attack would suddenly click without warning.
A continuation of that standard of performance will probably see us in the middle eights come August. However, should the win give the team a shot of confidence, then the performance level will hopefully improve back to where we were in May.
If that is the case then the next two games become winnable, but there needs to be a sharp improvement and quick otherwise it's Leigh here we come. Fingers crossed, here's hoping for the best.

1. The talentless academy that keeps bringing through talent
2. Mickey Paea's dancing feet
3. Gareth Ellis Man of Steel
4. Apprehension
5. Are Hull really a top eight side?
1 - as ive said all along. hkr will profit from it more then us. we have good young players but because radders is feeling the pressure, he is to scared to give them a chance
2- looked like a winger/centre in the lead up to that try, lomu eat your heart out lol
3 - if we were in the top 4 he be almost nailed on, but as it stands very outside chance
4 - meh
5 - at a scrape maybe, key game is derby...what were the odds on that.

| Think both hull teams could make the 8. Catalan have to play.
Widnes away not many teams win there.
Huddersfield at home but still without some of their top players can see giants win
Leeds away can only see rhinos win.

Widnes arent half as good without Brown
If the Hudds game goes down to video ref decisions there will be only one winner there
We know what happened in the play offs last year al Leeds
Still think the derby is going to be the decider.

8570.jpg Hull KR Chairman Neil Hudgell, August 26th, 2014 said..
"In fact, the days of us signing any players from across the river are over. Our fans are loyal, passionate and only interested in one club. Taking players from our nearest rivals doesn't fit in with that brief.":8570.jpg |

Richard Owen
Craig Hall
Tim Smith
Pita Godinet
Nick Scruton
Mickael Simon
Ian Kirke
Danny Washbrook
Jon Molly
Chris Annakin
Danny Kirmond
Kevin Locke

widnes - as already said, not same without brown
Huddersfield - Catalans are dangerous at home can take anyone
leeds - if they already have the title wrapped up will they field a bunch you young kids(if catalan fighting for top 8 against leeds young guns, only one winner, despite being away from home)

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |

... sorry, I forgot, it's always the coach's fault.
