| Quote: meatpaste "First of all, well done on your best performance for a long time in a Derby ( even better than last years home win).
Whilst scoring a hat-trick would normally mean you are MOM I have to disagree with the choice of FT. Without a shadow of a doubt the MOM should have gone to Minicheddar. He was immense. I have to say having seen him fair a few times this season I think he, along with Zeb Taia, is the best second rower in the comp
As it stands he would be my choice for player of the year so far.

| Minichiello has been outstanding in every game. I'd hope he's in the running for the Steve Prescott Man Of Steel, being ever-present and so influential. Ellis has been worth every penny though. You can't underestimate what he does for us.
Pryce for me has surpassed my expectations. He's not here to see out his last years in comfort. He takes more knocks than that fairy Campese and still gets up for more.

| Thought Houghton and the halves were instrumental in our attack and slowing the game when Rovers looked to fight back into it.
Watching the game though Wattsy was everywhere in the middle of the park and seemed to always have three Rovers players hanging off him whilst he looked for offloads he had no right to throw. Took care of their bigger lads in defence too.

| Even if they had a full strength side out, they'd still have got nowhere. They got 2 tries from our errors and balls-ups. Their fastest player nearly got caught by a prop too. Keep this momentum up and the next 3 games are winnable.

| Quote: Mrs Barista "Let's just say I agree with your sentiment.
The guy has a freaking enormous engine and a heart to match. After playing the first half at full throttle yesterday he's ragdolling a Rovers player on 39 minutes, buzzing around looking for more work. I love this guy. I haven't been drinking either.'"
Give over,penalty machine.

| My question is how have we gone from a side that looks clueless for eighteen months to a side that looks full of guile and structure. Whatever Radford has done he deserves a big pat on the back.

Pressure from fans that won't accept mediocrity,ie, Radford out banner, personal insults to players on here, and the petition its so obvious.
It has nothing to do with having all our vital players available, new half backs bedding in and confidence been up as a result of the first two reasons.

| McDermott and O'Connor go on about the "little things" all the time on Sky. We have a back row that is brilliant at the little things. Mini and Ellis at times are simply world class. The number of times on Saturday that Rovers had players catching their breath after tackles by the pair of them, especially Ellis. It's not something we all notice, but it is those little things that take the wind out of the oppositions sails.
For me it's Mini and Ellis that lay that platform that is allowing the props to make big yards and also allows Pryce and Sneyd the time to dictate play.
It was mentioned by the Sky team how Sneyd dictated the pace of the game after Rovers purple patch that saw them get two quick tries in the second half. No big breaks, no real skilful stand out play, just great game management, kicks to touch, into space completely took the sting out of Rovers play.
With the odd brain fart (Yeamans pass, poor tackles for Dixons tries) you can't say it was a perfect performance but it was as good a performance I've seen in a while. The improvement since Easter is incredible. I just hope it continues.
As for mom for me just it has to be Houghton incredible performance. Made the right decisions all the time. Kept Rovers on the back foot and created the platform for the forwards to dominate, from minute one.
