so we play people who wont even be here next season, when the season is gone.

explains the perspective of some people I guess. Some of us want to win something, not salvage a little pride.

Pick the best team,go out with fire in their bellys n use the confidence taken from the other night into the games. Finish strong. Most the players will still be here. Take that positivity into the offseason to work with. Pulling the team apart to throw youngsters in for the sake of it against those oppositions would do the youngsters more harm than good. If they're not quite ready leave them to be ready.

Finishing the season well and on a positive is important to take us into next season, look at Cas last year, finished the season well and carried it on to this year.

We are only talking about two players in Horne and Heremia anyway, not loads of the team.

and how do we know they are ready, this is the ideal time to try them out, surely?

Winning, or at the very least putting up credible performances, is the most important thing. A positive end to the season would also do wonders for pass sales with the feel good factor it would create as AP is no doubt aware. I wasn't aware that players who are leaving get 2 games off - does their pay get discounted for this? And as we are going with new half backs next year the continuity/preparation argument isn't strong.

What against two great big/strong/fast/smart/powerfull teams we should just fill our team with 17yr olds? Cos all our prospects are a yr below them selves in the 19s. Throwing them en block in for the whole team to go into the off season on the back of 2potential batterings isnt good player welfare managment, general managment, business sense or logical.

But slinging a team full of kids out is no good either, what good is playing HTW & Dean for 2games when Sneyd & Pryce will be the starting halfs come 2015, you have to field the strongest team possible, did the Bradford 2005 grand final winning team finish the season with kids just because the majority was leaving?

never said we should fill the team with U19's

Horne, Azza et al will not play next season, so play someone else, look to the future. (just my opinion)

There's maybe an argument for playing cunningham but radford hasn't played him since he returned from london so maybe he doesn't rate him. Dropping horne just because he's retiring after 16 seasons with us is disrespectful IMO

Stupid idea. Don't see the point in it at all because the kids that come in won't be playing next year either once Sneyd, Pryce, Mini and the other two are here.
Plus the 19's have a great chance of making their playoffs and going in to them with some form having won their last 4 games. Leave them to it.

How exactly? I think everyone knows it has been a disappointing season but there's absolutely no need to make it worse than it already is.

We should play our strongest team. Its been a bad enough season already; two crushing defeats to end it would only make it worse.
