Entitled your opinion, but don't agree with Houghton and Whiting.

Whiting isn't having a good season as previous, but there are factors, such as playing out of position and limited game time, he needs to play in the backrow and him been moved about has made his game suffer this year, one game this season he got 20mins.

Houghton is a very good SL hooker, if available a few of the top teams including Leeds would be after him, his game isn't perfect, but he still loads, look at his stats this year and not just his defensive stats, he us having a good season and already scored the most try's in a season.

As said our pack is certainly good enough, it's the back and possible the halfs that aren't good enough, also doubts over the coaching.

I don't we are far off the top teams in SL.

Regarding Houghton, defensively he's in the top 3 in SL. - IMO.

Offensively , he needs someone,who can identify his weaknesses and change his core skills
ie ,passing speed & accuracy,also his decision making.

Its not only Houghton in the squad, there are a lot of players,whose core skills are not up to standard, also which is more of a concern, is the youth,

Are their core skills up to the required level??

When Gentle was dismissed, I suggested Brian Smith for the role, as he is proven at improving core skills.

I am not advocating replacing Radford, who IMO, has improved our attack more in 6 months, than Agar & Gentle did in 6 years.

This. If we're going to compete up at the top we need to honestly ask ourselves what players we have that the teams that consistently finish above us would want. These are the players we need to retain and build a team around IMO.

However, if we are to wield the ax on certain players we need to make sure we have someone better lined up to replace them. It's easy enough saying that players A, B and C should go but if their replacements are just more of the same then we won't have improved. Finding those better players will be the tricky part.

Can't see Cookie's return going down well. I personally have moved on but I know there's still a lot of FC fans out there that don't want him anywhere near the club again.

Leeds' back line is scary good, but take Yeaman out and put Sa in and I don't think our backs are that far behind the other 3.

Say all you want about Koukash, but he is certainly brining excitement and the spotlight to our game. Putting his money were his mouth is also.
