Maybe it's just me but Iwell remember Sharp's team playing some really dour stuff. It was Agar, bless him, that got FC playing well after John Kear left. John Kear actually stated that his team would go on a long unbeaten run, just after the chop. I went to Catalan's, away, which I think was one of Sharp's very early games in charge, at half time, I said to my brother, if this is the coach's tactics, we're likely to be bored to death. Mentioning the Catala away game previously, reminds me of a tale of Gwillym Loyd. The big cafe bar in the square, Perpignon, has the toilets downstairs. The sinks have just a spout for the tap. I was stood washing my hands and Gollum came up beside me and looked puzzled, no tap knobs. I told him it was a new fangled tap where you place your hands beneath the spout, the water comes out automatically. I left him walking around trying to get a tap working, there was a floor switch, beneath each sink!!!!!!!!! Priceless.
