We seem to be struggling with our 2 new signings per week, so now we can expect Aspy announced as one of the six or eight or however many it was supposed to be.

Seems very odd that a week after we had been told he had gone (and wasn't it McCrae who first muted that he would not be retained) we now release a statement that he is still an FC player and negotiations are ongoing. Gentle seemed to make it clear that he still wanted Aspy.

Wonder if he signed for Leigh on back of Bombers comments but had an opt out if a Super League Club came in? Something not quite right....

Shame about Will Sharp. I think if he hadn't have got his injury when he did it may have been a different story. In my opinion he was getting to be one of the most improved players this season. Good luck to all who haven't found new clubs yet.

I presume that the only reason Lyne hasn't been mentioned is that Wakefield are wanting to wait before they announce it and so have asked us to not mention it. It's already well known that he's joining them - he announced it on twitter a month or so ago.

They've got it wrong about him not making an appearance this year. He played against Hudds & was pants. Still a little puzzled as to why Wakey want him if I'm honest.

it's usually until the end of october contracts run to, but if they 're not retained a club usually sees the back of them after the last game and just pays their last wage in october I'm led to believe.

I would be happy to see Aspinwall stay for another year.

McGoldrick has done ok but if we offer him a deal does it suggest we are having trouble signing a half back or full back?
