Some serious rebuilding after the mess Agar left the club in......... No bringing the youth into the squad........ Bad signings........Bad team selections..........it's going to take at least a millennium to put things right.....and so on and so on the canteens vending machine not filled up on time....etc etc Agars fault......... Yawwwwwwnnnnnnn !!!!! |

Nothing about this season feels familiar to the last half decade of despair, no. Why would it, the whole rotten underpinning has been swept away and we know solid foundations are under construction? Eggs will be broken to make the omlette and it'll take a couple if years to perfect, but Gentle's scambling together in the meantime is a much tastier offering already.

Can't understand the negativity of some of the fans, I have enjoyed this season more than any other since 2007.
even many of the defeats have been close, tense games (the injury hit games with Hudds and Wigan aside) and even though we should have done better in the last couple of weeks we are still in a strong position.
any fan that was expecting us to waltz to Old Trafford in the space of one year is deluded, and ignorant of how the standards in SL have got a lot closer in recent years.
