Got brushed aside by Ablett early on but wasn't exposed in defence, showed some class in attack and rounded it off with a great try.

A better performance for him this week , No doubt the coaches have been busy with him . Very encouraging performance.

As I don't have chance to get to a lot of U20 games, I hasn't had much outlook on what sort of player he is. After the Wigan game it was hard to judge him as we were at 6s and 7s for pretty much the whole match, but tonight he showed me what all the hype is about.

Thought he looked very capable in attack but often caught out in defence, sayingthat be was up against a much bigger ablett at the time

Did well tonight and rounded it off with a cracking try near the end. Showed a lot of composure in setting up Briscoes first try as well, never rushed the pass just waited till the fullback was committed and threw the ball to Briscoe.

Really pleased for him as Ablett has been getting massive raps from the Leeds fans the way he is performing at centre but Crooks handled himself very well and showed why everybody to do with the club is so high on him.
