If it's true then it will be a loss this season but probably better for the club in the long term. Quite a chunk of salary cap tied up in a player who will be 35 when his contract finishes and who is already missing matches due to niggling injuries in year 1 of a 3 year deal.
Still think it's unlikely he will leave though

(he's a decent enough player, but he's proven to be a liability so far)

Ridiculous comment. McKinnon had been one of the best attacking options we have and sound defensively. He may have made a couple of silly errors, but don't label him a 'liability' is stupidity. |

Quite agree, until its confirmed its pointless talking about it as if its confirmed. At this rate the way speculation is going we won't have much of a team next season if the gossip and rumour is to be believed about players going.
Some people take this gossip far too literally.
