Just over 1,300 up on the corresponding game last year. Quite impressive considering the weather yesterday.

Our current average is 13,524 which is up by about 300 on last year. That should go up even more with the Leeds game.

Great news that gates are holding up and even increasing in the current economic environment. Would imagine it's probably the case at Wigan and Warrington but wouldn't have thought there are lots of clubs in a similar situation.

I think fans going on holiday have an impact on attendances in Aug...a lot of businesses in Hull have annual shut down etc...

We miss the Leeds game icon_sad.gif .......will not impact though our passes will be put to good use icon_biggrin.gif

That's right - the only other clubs seeing an average rise from last season as it stands are Crusaders, Wigan and Warrington. The latter two by over 1,700 each. Biggest fallers are Catalans (2,100 down on average) and Bradford (1,100 down).

It's a shame that Hull are hindered from promoting the Leeds game to a certain extent with the uncertainty over the date/time of the game. We should be looking at 15,000 for that.

Was thinking the same about the Leeds game. IIRC we haven't done a one match giveaway to the extent that we did last year for the Quins game (I think). Would have been great to do what Wigan did for the Leeds game and try and get a bumper crowd.

What's the deal on using up unused vouchers? We've got 4 going spare but can't get to the KC for an exchange.

The South looked quite empty but I think that was because everyone was sat in the top two thirds of the stand to escape the rain.

If you ring them in advance Mrs B they will arrange the swaps for you to pick up on game night. I too have a swap to arrange for the Leeds game after missing the Cru game on friday.

Just take them into the ticket office before the day of the game and exchange them for tickets to said game. Not much use if you can't get to the stadium though.

Cheers for that. If I posted someone the vouchers can they exchange them themselves or do you need the full pass to do so?

Hull gave 3,000 tickets away to local amateur clubs for the Quins game at the start of the season, last year they gave 5,000 away (I think via the Mail).

I'd love Hull to target the Leeds or Wigan game next season for a 20,000 attendance. £10 a ticket for home and away fans with a big publicity drive and it could be achievable. Wigan's marketing for 'The Big One' over the last two seasons has been superb.

can't see why something can't be done for the Leeds game. I am a pass holder, but wouldn't complain about cheap or free tickets being given out.

lets fill the ground and give the team a big push for 4th place.

hopefully SKY will show the game on Saturday, as that should mean more Leeds fans travel over.

I know it might have looked more empty but im guessing people just moved up to get out the rain, so instead of more bunched up.
