Tansey, capable of brilliance and calamity. Tonight I thought he wasx poor; that kick was woeful but the one that annoyed me most was a 'no look' pass he threw with men either side which he threw into Sam Obst's hands. He's a loose canon who will win us some games and lose us some too; but he's the best we have.

Not a fan of Tansey and tonight certainly didn't make me change my mind.

Tell you what really [ip[/iissed me off, though. The group of people that were sat next to me shouting 'run forward' everytime he got the ball. Yeah, his style's not the same as it was, and I preffered it when he was running forward more, but it's obvious that he's looking for gaps or openings for others, which led to our opening try (the fans previously jeering him cheered this, obviously. gah). I'd prefer if he did a mixture of the two though.

That kick was appaling, and his kicks to touch have no ambition at all.

His forms dipped these past few weeks.

Tansey is not a fullback. Not sure he is even a good player anymore, although I did think so and will give the benefit of the doubt, Wonder why Leeds got rid eh.

Our kicks for touch have been appaling for the last 2 seasons not just this season with Tansey , don't know why but it seems to me we are more concerned in 100% safety when going for touch so unlike other teams don't make the distance

That kick was appalling, particularly given the overlap , he just didn't look.
It was only beaten by Luakai kicking on second tackle 10 yards from the line. Beyond belief.

Solid team defence against a team with as much idea of attacking play as us.
Clueless in attack - get Richard whiting in the middle of the field in a pivot position and let him lead.

I have seen posts from you guys saying he should be the next international full back, got posts on here saying he will never make a full back, I think it sums up his performances pretty well, too inconsistent.

Completely over-rated, not a full back nor a half back either. At best should be a utility player. Whilst weve got players like him playing for us we'll never achieve anything. FACT!

Spot on. I think the team as a whole were guilty of trying to play that way last night especially in the first half.

I felt it was another poor performance tonight from Tansey. He's never going to be a full back. Weak under the high ball, dodgy in defence and poor kick returns. The 'no try' where Cooke kicked it out of his hands was ridiculous - he should have been down on the floor making the ball safe rather than trying to pick it up on the fly.

Tansey had his worst game in an FC shirt last night for me. Everyones allowed them though, he's been outstanding this season.
