thats my thoughts mate, we have a tough run coming up and lose one or 2 and he'd be in there rather than us having to play others and shuffle |

Wll need the full squad for the easter period 3 games in 9 days against rovers,wire and leeds with leeds again the week after says keep the squad here IMO

Burnett will be playing a huge role this season imo. A loan deal would be an option though and it's nice to see our players been approached by SL clubs rather than NL1 clubs. Shows our greater depth.

Let him go but only for the flat month with no extension.
It will help out Cas and improve our relations with the club but more importantly give Burnett some more experience and gametime.
If Tickle does decide to move nearer home at the end of the season Burnett would be my choice as his replacement.

I reckon we have enough options at SR for a loan spell to have worked, but if the club don't think it's a good idea their reasoning is probably sound.

I would guess that if we didnt have the minimum loan period we would have allowed him to go on loan and give us flexibility to recall him if we pick a knock or two up.

Thats the bit that confuses me. Do we need to announce in advance which players have a dual contract and with who? I noticed a lot of the Leigh players were dual contracted players but is this set in stone before the season starts or what?!?! |
