Tansey into the halves for Friday whether or not Long is fit.

This is what I've been saying about Agar and how it's the games without Long where he needs to show how good a coach he is. Well he just failed the first test. The whole team just fell apart.

We need first and second receivers with some idea urgently. Tansey has the character to take responsibility. He may look better still with more ball in his hand. So if needs must move him up.

Turner is a young new kid who may not yet be able to direct the team. That is why I would play him at the centre and move Tansey who has the character. I didn't think Turner went that well against Sheffield at 6 pre season.

Turner better than what we have at the moment..However I agree about Tansey (though he is going well at f/back), move Whiting to f/back, Calders back for Hall and either Hall or Turner is the centre

Nothing else for it. Horne to FB, Tansey and maybe Turner in the halves.

Tbh, if long isn't fit for quins game, I'd be very tempted to have Turner @ 6, Tansey @ 7, with Whiting @ 1. Horne's been very quiet in previous games this season, imo, and the same last year, and (judging by the radio commentary), today was no exception.

its alright moving tansey but everyone on the board is making wholesale changes to the team which could unbalance the team in the way of consistency, tansey for me you leave at full back as he is going good in attack and defence in that position but as I've mentioned i would drop horne for turner or even whiting, may well be the kick up the ar$e he needs. Bring long back in, calders in with hall his centre and that's it.

Instead of Horne at stand-off, how about Horne to pi55-off and we'll sort the team from there?

The balance of the side is pretty ineffective if you dont have any halves who can make the key plays and take responsibility. Tansey is one of our best players and we need him with the ball in his hands.

As i've mentioned elsewhere i don't know why Agar doesn't give Tansey a open role when where in attack so he comes into the receivers as HB and let horne drop back to be utilised as a support player.
