Think he was. I still remember a game a few years ago when Bradford had pressure on the Leeds(?) line and looked certain to score. He was tackled just short and got up to play the ball. Something had obviously gone on in the tackle and instead of playing the ball, he punched out two defenders  |

Brian Mcdermott given he was a very acomplished heavyweight boxer and whilst with the Royal marines he was the All arms Champion for a wee while, guess that makes him a tough lad. But also Smith when a player was quite a handy lad also !!
