Maybe not the best man for the job, but I had no problem with Peter Sharp. He changed things that needed changing, got rid of some dead wood (and tried to get rid of some more), instilled a bit of discipline where there wasn't much previously and generally did a good job. He was just very, very unfortunate with circumstances out of his control (although we did get much too conservative towards the end of his time here).

It wasn't when Kear won the cup with Sheffield. I'd like Kearney back here but I think we're over hyping him a touch as a coach. I think our huge problems are not going to be fixed by a relatively new coach. Kearney had a huge help from Wayne Bennet with the Kiwi's, I'd love THAT duo at Hull!
