I do get why we should be looking at that situation though !'"
I'd give one of them a go against London, we need to be trying something and having a good look at some younger players.

We definitely need to change the pivots, at least Hoy created something yesterday.

Balmforth on the bench.'"
I wouldn't ague with that , but I think until Trueman gets back in the side , Its going to be a tough couple of months .

| We have a squad of 40 ? .. And I fully expect us to be using most by the seasons end . And I think here's also the new rule on how many minutes a player can play in a season although I don't think it will be legally enforced by SL . SL will be monitoring players throughout the season and also by the clubs themselves .

KR wernt really good on the night but didnt need to be against what is such a poor FC team.
If they had put their foot down and not missed so many goal kicks it would have been 50 or sixty points/
I keep harping on about our on field indicipline but this coach cant seem to do anything about it.
When you look at our backline last night McIntosh,Scott,Litten and Martin that is so weak and none of them would be anywhere near another S/L clubs 17 London apart.
With no halfbacks,a weak second row and a championship threequater line its little wonder we get rolled over and cant score points.

Something seriously wrong if Balmforth is not in the 17
Like you say we have to try Smith with Hoy and play Brown at nine

i seriously doubt Trueman will be the answer to our prayers
You could see last season how much pace he had lost since his first injury at Castleford.

| Not the ideal choice but i'd be going back in for Olly Russell. Can't wait until May until Trueman is back.

I reckon Martin could become a cracking player. Fingers crossed.

| Leeds starting 17 look on a different level to what we've got.

Amazing what bringing in 3 top players does, plus trusting the youth system.

| Would 4/5 good signings make a different?
Let's say Carlos, Hoy, Mcintosh, Lane and Houghton leave.
We sign an English centre, I'd target Corey Hall or Jack Broadbent.
An overseas 7 (Clifford, Hawkins, Volkman etc)
A UK backrower, or prop (Mcmeeken)
NRL loose forward like Anista
Walker
Tindall
Hall
Sutcliffe
Martin
Trueman
Hawkins
Ese'ese
Brown
Sao
Okunbor
Mcmeeken
NRL LF
Pele
Ashworth
Balmforth
Fash/Brown
Wouldn't take that much money, need to make smart signings.
Watched York last week, liked the look of Oli Field (ex Leeds academy), definitely worth keeping an eye on.

| If available I'd also take a risk on Abdul, play him 13, give us another quota spot to play with.

He won't come back to FC mate. He left the City to sort his head out and get away from stuff.
