Not quite sure where Fev go from here as a club, you feel they had to get promoted this season to stand any chance of being a SL club in the near future, can't see them getting in with IMGs grading criteria to come in from 2025

| Wow, Fev blown it again. 25 wins from 27 and almost +800 points difference but they miss out and that was realistically their only chance of playing in Super League.
Fingers crossed for Toulouse next week.

I imagine they'll cut budgets and scale things back
This was their big chance and they've bottled it big style

| A good night for expansionists but have to say ive always found the Championship playoffs a cruel way to decide who goes up, Fev had the title wrapped up weeks ago and could have been preparing for SL. The other year Toronto won it in July and it would have only taken a bout of sickness, a bad ref decision etc on grand final night for the odds to be upset.
Probably for the best for SL though, Fev is a tiny place even if they won the treble they can only attract a small crowd

Londons quite a big place but won't attract crowds much bigger than Fev if they gain promotion.

Pleased for London they hit form several weeks ago and wouldnt be surprised if they turned Toulouse over although i would love Toulouse to get back into S/L.
That said what a stupid system we have/had when a team like Fev run away with the Championship title yet have to go into a play off

Must admit I thinking the same thing!

Said to you on Saturday Steve we shouldnt write London off to beat Fev and turn Toulouse over because their form over the last few weeks has been top quality and confidence at a high.
From a personal point of view would like to see Toulouse back as i think the RFL could have given them a two season dispensation to establish themselves in S/L and out of all the Championship clubs they have the finance to strengthen the squad knowing there is no relegation which this season they have been reluctant to do

It was only two season ago Wiz that they were playing at Rosslyn park which is only one step up from a park pitch

London's massive problem is they have moved grounds too often, often moving over an hours travel away in the process. Fingers crossed they are settled in Wimbledon but knowing RL's luck there will be a last minute move to Southend or something bonkers

Excellent post and something Ive thought all season. I loved travels to Post Office Road in the day and had some great times in the club house with some brilliant fans but lately they are a club that are constantly courting bad news. The appalling way they approached that cup game with us which was just thuggery, Breaking covid rules with a party for players featuring their Board members when everyone else was locked up at home, Racists comments and bad behaviour on the terraces, treating their staff (Coaching staff) in a questionable way and their chairman in big trouble with the law eclipses the fact that they have made real strides forward off the field and improved their Stadium amazingly. I feel for their real true fans, but well done to London they are really motoring at present and a real story of struggling to rise over adversity. However in a no relegation setting in future years when clubs have time to build into the league, Toulouse would be a great addition. I bet Longy had a wry smile on his face tonight.

| Toulouse averaged 5k in 2022 (they got over 9k for the game v Catalans). London barely averaged 2k in their last Super League season.
