Am i missing something?.I cannot ever remember reading that Myler turned us down again,or Hull making a offer for him while still under contract at Warrington, so where did the info come from on this?. |

I heard it from a pretty reliable source and a few others heard it from other sources too around the same time, it was never publicised. Hull were interested and were willing to pay a fee and Wire were willing to listen but the player wanted to stay and fight for his place. |

I remember it being in the HDM a couple of years ago when he was at salford.
o/t but at this stage of the game i would rather keep berrigan for another year. i would be really surprised if we could pull off signing a HB or a hooker. if we released him and didn't replace him for 2011 then it would be a disaster |

The club made him a handsome offer and a three year deal but he wanted to stay at the Wire and fight for his place as he had made there his home and wanted to see out what he had started which was credit to the lad, nothing has changed we have not asked him since. |

I guess there must of been something in it then.A non story then as Hull would not of come out with a Press statement saying Myler had turned them down.I do hope we have positive news soon on half back cover. |

This Myler thing was mentioned at a fans forum, I'm sure. I'm sure at the one that was at the Hull Truck that Rule mentioned that we'd put in a recent bid for Myler, Wire accepted but Myler turned us down, and that you can't blame Agar for that.
There's a recording of the evening on our site, so if anyone's bothered enough to trawl through it until they find it I think it was something like that.

I think that you are right I think that possibly at Hull Truck Agar said we have been in for him twice, not 100% though. |

Good news, Agar got a bit of criticism for not playing him for longer spells last season but in the tonga v Samoa game for the last 10 of his 2 20 min spells he was knackered.
But no doubt this will have nothing to do with Agar knowing his limitations, through seeing him train daily, but his jet lag.
