Hardaker rarely misses any games….until he signs for FC of course

The Hardaker ommission has given us a bit of a conundrum. I think we need Rapana at centre now, which means Moy at FB. I would probably go with the plan A being that Balmforth will play 80 minutes. But we need a contingency plan in case he is really struggling. Probably in the form of Lane going to hooker for 20 minutes. Far from ideal but I think we need to stack the bench with size and whilst I trust Hutchison it could be a waste if he isn't really needed in the end.

Id be looking to keep Rapana at FB personally, Chamberlain to centre and have Moy on bench to spell with Balmforth at Hooker.

I just hope we compete and it's not a hammering.

Worrying that we've got a new S&C team in, better fitness, better conditioning and facilities, new physio team and we're still blighted by injuries

And opposite our friends over the river seem to be largely injury free for the last 18 months baring the odd injury, can’t be just “bad luck”

Most teams have injuries just look at others... But again it's just us ...

We was into squad numbers in the fifties last year, it’s a fair discussion point.

Last year..... This is a new year .....Leigh Leeds Wakefield Cas Catalans etc all have 4 or more players out..... Maybe there have the same backroom staff as us

The extent of the injury lists across the comp already is a real shame. It's a tough sport.

That’s alright then as long as other teams have got injuries we don’t need to access why they keep happening

We've lost abdul completely, holmes injured after one game now another 4 is it from the catalans game? 2 games in and 6 of the pre season squad unavailable due to injury. Just when we'd put in a decent performance too.

Maybe hardaker has this bug ashworth had?

I see lewis murphy is injured too. Another one who can't stay fit
