| Wow what a performance regardless of win, loss or the draw. The changes to see already under Cartwright are night and day to what we’ve seen in years. We look like a well drilled and fit team that is willing to give everything for their team mates and coach.
Cartwright has done a tremendous job so far along with this coaching team. I had doubts re Sezer but he has been a real leader and general out on the field. He’s the first in a long while we’ve had that has questioned the ref during the game. Asiata is another that has really stood up to the task at hand. Tonight they all from 1-17 did a great job but special mention to Bourouh who was outstanding tonight.
I don’t think there is any doubt we still have a long way to go but credit to everyone at the club for the progress they have made and continue to make.
Overall a draw is a fair result and for the first time in a long time an entertaining game.
Sadly once again a great game has seen some poor & questionable officiating all round from all the officials. The yellow cards dished to us yet Leigh escape for very similar offences, Martins try being awarded was very dubious and then to top off the terrible display was the clear foot on touch as Briscoe received the ball yet the assistant, Grant and the VR couldn’t even get that one right.
Now what we have to do is reproduce those efforts every week.

Im going to come out with a prediction thst some may disagree with but Harvey Barron is going to be a future England international player. I'd admit to bring sceptical he'd make it a couple of seasons ago but he's come on leaps and bounds, looks the real deal now. He's quick, big, string and good under a high ball, all things you look for in a winger. I think you could be right. He's been excellent and good on him for knuckling down and improving at a time when he could have quite easily have been led astray by some of the lazy players we had last year

| Lots I could post about the reffing and the controversial incidents but I'm simply going to say how good is it to be walking up to the stadium not feeling in fear of what we are about to watch.
The stands were loud again and I felt the most entertained I have probably since the 2019 good friday demolition of Rovers.
The squad still has imperfections and Leigh's pace in particular caused us problems but we will win more than we will lose playing like that.

| God Almighty, how nerve-wracking was that!!! I haven't been that much on edge watching the Fc since Chris Sandow made a half-break at Wembley 2016 with 79:45 on the clock!!!!
Echo what everyone else has said tonight, we may still be a little short on quality but the attitude and commitment that JC has instilled into the side in less than six months is nothing short of incredible, remembering the disorganized mess he walked into late last year. That attitude and commitment we saw tonight is what we were all hoping for as a bare minimum, but we seemed to have suddenly rediscovered it in spades. There is obviously still a long way to go this season but we seem to have a team we can be proud in and get behind once more, fantastic atmosphere in the ground tonight.
Asiata and Sezer in the middle will turn out to be two of the most inspired signings we have made in a very long time if they continue to maintain this standard and influence on the side in the months to come.
I'll never get to sleep tonight, my head is spinning around that much right now!!!!

| Just listened to the cartwright interview and he was right about the briscoe foot on the line incident. If his foot is on the line it's a penalty i the halfway line, if it's not it's play on. The officials just got it wrong imo

| Fantastic effort from the lads tonight. Well deserved point won. Had to be the longest SL game in history thanks to the incompetent video ref. Is he going home on Leigh’s team bus.. Not sure if it’s been mentioned on here before .. but if we could find some pacy centres then we will go very well.

I thought the same about the martin try on the screen at the ground but just see the highlights on twitter and it actually looked ok

That was my thought watching it on the big screen. Briscoe's foot clearly does not slid backwards after he caught the ball so there was no way he caught it in the field of play and then subsequently put his foot into touch. Hence, as you say, it was either penalty on half-way or play on! It was just the last in a number of odd decisions, none of which went our way.

| excellent performance from 1-17, up against it in the first half with questionable decisions by the officials, but should have known with Grant after last week showing at Hudds. If offered a point at the start of the match i would have snatched your hand off, but after that decision by Jack Smith not to over turn Briscoe out on the full call, felt like we lost, not having a penalty on halfway and setting up for a DG which could've won us the match!
fear Rapana maybe banned for the cup game as he was already on 3 points.

I'm starting to get suspicious SKY are encouraging the long video ref action for the TV drama. Also still not a fan of Golden Point for a team to get zero points tonight would have been very poor and the players don't need the further 10mins of energy sapping drama for a league game.
