On the subject of Abdull, he's had a very good game. Hasn't done much wrong at all. Kicking game has been spot on too.

A little over the top but the kid is doing his reputation good tonight.

He has played well but given lots of room by Widnes.Just not consistent enough to be considered for regular first team football.
I have said it several times but if he can lose the weight,vastly improve his fitness level and put in some speed training then we will have player for the future if indeed the club give him a contract extension.

Abdul, take a bow, proved me wrong. Defended well, took the line on, controlled the game, converted the goals and found space with the kicks.

Well played Jordan Abdull. You "took some bad options in pre season"??? Well learn from it, you've got talent but talent won't take you to the top, mental strength will (see Gareth Ellis).

Really pleased about the win tonight but appalled at most of the Sky commentary team. Apart from O'Connor crediting the defence the rest would give us no praise at all. Before the game they seemed to be suggesting that a loss tonight and we would be virtually out of the top four. We have been at the top of the table for, what, half the season and had an off night last week after a tough semi final and get so little credit for it. There were lots of errors but the only other side to have nilled Widnes this season are Wigan by 7 so it looks like the league table is a pretty accurate reflection.
Abdul played very well but I thought Hadley was the only forward who ran on to the ball at pace. We need to see more from Frank; I don't think Radford has worked out how to make best use of him yet.

Hadley imo derserves a run in the team, he brings a good running game and tackles well, thought our bench looked good tonight
