I don't know if that was sarcastic or whether you mean it. Either way, I think your list shows how hard to pick it really is. And you have chosen two teams that Hull have beaten and one we haven't played. On their current form, now might be a good time to play Leeds.

I wouldn't like to call the top four at the moment and, because of that, can't see why Hull couldn't be counted amongst them.

If i was being sarcastic i'd have put Wire in there icon_lol.gif

The two teams you have beaten are now playing some of the best rugby in the comp. If Hull played them now they'd wipe the floor with you.

Agree about Leeds though.

Quote: me 'n' our kid "As you have said on countless occaisions, Radford is used as a 3rd prop at LF as is the way our game is played now. Play him as a conventional prop and we may find a place for Washy/Whiting at LF and have a ball running LF.'"

Think i am right in thinking we are one of the few teams who has a 3rd prop at LF. This means we need more interchanges as a conventional loose forward stays on for a full game ie sinfield. This means we could spell our second rowers (finally) and we will have 3 ball players on the park giving us more options in attack.

personally would have washbrook at 13 and have whiting at right centre if it was up 2 me

As we dont seem to use our full 12 thats obviously not the thinking of our coach.

have noticed this too. wat is the reasoning 4 this?

we have 12 interchanges so we should use them in order to keep players as fresh as possible

some of our players look fooked and we are not giving them a break

Fair point.

But in all honesty is was expecting big things from Huddersfield and Les Cats anyway and after a faltering start they are now delivering. They have quality all over the park and are the nearest thing on paper to Leeds and Saints. Both have had changes of coach but now their players appear to be warming to them.

I don't think Rovers or Hull have anything like that same quality of player, or coach for that matter. But like you say time will tell.

Seeing as you mention "on paper" and there's been a lot of discussion recently about quality coaches, what about Warrington's chances? There are a lot of games left.

I suppose 'on paper' they have decent side, but they have had a decent side on paper for number of years and have always disappointed. So on that basis even allowing for Tony Smith i am writing their chances off.

Looking and how teams are playing I think its wide open for any of the current top 8 to cement a place in the top four. Should Luauki and Crocker get the nod would fancy us to improve and have a good go at it.

Maloney had a very good debut, he ran hard and direct. Thought King did well in his short spell also. Calderwood, G.Horne & Washy also put in good performances.

Couldn't agree more !!!

Those four sides have the size and power in the pack (that we don't have)
They have the creativity in pivotal positions (that we largely don't have)
They have pace and strike power in the backs (that we largely lack )

Catalans last night, after going behind early, proved what a very good side they have and, regardless of their poor start, they look a top four side to me and will undoubtedly finish above both us and the dobbins.

The lack of quality in our squad will leave us fighting for the 7th and 8th positions along with hkr and possibly quins.

Against Saint we look better with ball in hand more so when Berro came on he gave us more go forward ..it was always going to be a long afternoon at Saints but in my opinion a better performance ..then Friday ..yes we lost ..there was some good signs there.. (not a lot of one man rugby for a change ) that we been playing ..players were trying to off load and passing better ..putting players through gaps.. some fans have posted the kicking side of the game need improvement needs working on at training this week ..Let hope they can carry it on in the next games icon_confused.gif:

Thought he was our MOTM, runs the ball very hard and along with Manu was our two biggest threats with ball in hand, obviously still very raw but he looks a great prospect and i hope he plays against Wakefield
