Problem is that those are getting very hard to come by, as evidenced by it seemingly falling through for him to stay at home. I wasn't too sure of McDonnell, but we probably signed the best fullback on the SL market last year. This year doesn't look any better TBH.

I agree, it's been a huge part of their success. I'll be interested to see if they can do it again though, or whether they got a bit lucky with the nature of Sinfield and the others, and in particular with Sinfield and his influence on the other players to stay on board. |

Tansey won't be going anywhere, Just signed a new 2 year extention at Cas and is very happy there. And has been one of the finds of the season as has been playing on peanuts to earn a new deal.
Signing Dorn will be to add competition for places at 1 and 6. We have said for the first time in the clubs history, The club will spend the full Salary cap and aim for a squad of 28 at least. (We usually spend about 1.2m) so thats a massive leap of faith from the Board in Daryl Powell.
