He definitely isn't a Rovers fan, just a bit misguided, I think Rovers will do slightly worst than last season, lost some good quality in eth backs with Ryan, SKD, Coote/Walker and Schneider, not sure there replacements are better. Two forwards in Linnett and Kennedy replaced by two forwards with injuries problems.
I'd say that May is an upgrade on Schneider, but is very similar to Lewis, so not sure that will work.
Kennedy was a pudding (like a younger Kane Evans), so Whitbread is a better player if he gets on the pitch.
Be suprsied if they don't finish in the top 6.
On another note, Hudds have a really strong looking squad on paper, they should be top 6, if they don't I think Watson will be om his way out.

Whilst Rovers have what looks a decent squad for 2024 as you say Dave, they have lost some influential players (much like Catalan) so I imagine there may well be some adjustment period. The pressure of the '2nd season' will also be on. Think they will be in the top 6 but would be gobsmacked if they finished in the top 2.
As for Huddersfield strong squad again on paper like last season but as we know the game isn't played on paper. Think it could be another tough season for them if they struggle early doors as the pressure will certainly be on Watson to get results after the poor showing this season.

[size=200:1381yqo4] OLD FAITHFUL [/size:1381yqo4]: |
|
| I'm probably on my own here but i am genuinely excited for next season.
We are certainly going in as an unknown quantity with 17 new players in the squad.
I haven't been this enthused about a season since before the start of 2016.
In Ese'Ese and Brown we have signed 2 genuine quality players. Okunbor and Pele are both coming over with the bit between their teeth to prove the doubters wrong.
From the domestic signings, Walker again is a quality player (hopefully his injury troubles are now behind him.
Tindall has shown in glimpses that he's potentially a very good player.
Ashworth again, sounds like he's determined to make this move work and show people what a good player he is. He's certainly got all the tools and hopefully this fresh start is just what he needs.
Diakhate looks a fantastic prospect and the crop of academy lads are arguably the best bunch we've had come through for many a year.
Also excited to see what Hoy can bring now he's settled in properly and that his hamstring troubles are (hopefully behind him.
And not forgetting both Carlos and Sao are having a full pre season which they didn't get last year so both should be hitting the ground running come February. COYH

| Spot on rock rolla.
Posters keep going on about 2nd row
But the whole team have been awful the last 5 seasons. We’ve got some really good talented hungry players.
Every SL. squad apart from Wigan, have weaknesses next season.
There’s absolutely no reason why we can’t achieve top 6.
Even the unstoppable kr have weaknesses.

May was only a squad player at Penrith, he couldn't get in and hold a position down, yet after a very good season at Catalans he was just Ok
Stick to Fash, Lane and Cator bashing Pal.

And imo last season apart from Clifford and swift was our best player'"
More likely to have been what he had to say to the players and coach when they got back to the changing room at the end (it certainly wasn't sorry), his position became untenable, plus I guess the owner was looking at a semi as we all where at that flash point in the game. As for players being allowed to mouth off at officials, I think that would take us down a very rocky road, if he had said what he did to a referee in football he would have possibly walked as well. Having said all that some of our officials are too far up themselves for their own good which is an attitude issue that is likely to incite anger from the players as it certainly does from the fans.

He played 56 times in 3 years
Proper squad player
They're the weaklinks madness how our fans can't see it
Only reason they're still here is "hull born and bred" obsession with our fans
no matter how average they are

At least if you are going to google something, check it out, all you have to do it count to 5, 56 games in 5 years, a bit of a difference. Although he did have a year out, due to been a naughty boy.

You won't be the only one. They'll be more stoppages and penalties than in union.
It will be the death of RL.

From this;
Nick Fozzard
@Fozzythebear1
I hit sinfield with a very deliberate attack to his head hurting him quite badly giving away a penalty - my captain Nat wood shouted to me, “do it to him again” so I did - I head butted Barrie macdermot & got sent off - & we lost
To this;
Nick Fozzard
@Fozzythebear1
I’m involved in this case to provide for my kids & fiancée when I’m no longer here - I hope you can all relate to that
Can he litigate against himself?
