| Getting Connor involved changed the game . Did outshine Kelly but still provided a try and an assist . Could it be next season Kelly 6 Connor 7

| Quote: Tarquin Fuego "Why did Connor go to the halves ? tactical or injury ?'"
Looked tactical unless I missed Harris getting hurt. Logan came into the centres off the bench which I assume was Radford's plan all along.
In a fully fit team I'd like Connor at centre. We know what he can do running to the line but when he is competing for kicks on that right edge we seem to score a lot. He has a real knack for either patting the ball back for Kelly, Sika or Bureta or just taking it one handed and scoring himself. He is a great half back but he can also create tries from centre and players like that are as rare as snake shoes.

| I’d love a pair of those snake shoes as well as Maradona as a dinner guest at my house
Please let’s end this farce and move Jake to 6
Kelly can leave on compassionate grounds etc

The only way Kelly would go is back to the NRL, and after the McDonalds incident I don't think anyone is shopping for him at the moment.

Agree 100% with this. Furthermore when have Kelly, Connor and Sneyd all been fit and available for selection at the same time? Nice to have some options there as it keeps the pressure on all of them to keep performing, not to mention others like Carlos, Griffin and Shaul who could miss out to accommodate them.

I can't see Shaul missing out unless injured, I think we could go Connor,Sneyd in the halves, Kelly at 13 and not give Washy a new deal.
Would be the most creative FC side for a while.

Westy has to be 13 in my opinion. I can't see us not giving him a longer deal as he definitely added a new threat to our attack.

| Just seen on Daily Mail that Radders has said when Sneyd is fit again he's straight back into the halves.

Thats the right call for me,Sneyd with Kelly and Connor to right centre.
When Kelly goes back to Australia then Connor will revert to half back.
Half back is not our problem, its currently front and back row where we are weak.
Maybe Josh Griffin in the second row will give us some impact but need a starting prop to match Taylors efforts and use Paea off the bench as was envisaged
If we dont strengthen these areas we will never get to that Grand Final

| Of course Sneyd will come back in, he's the organiser, he's the winner of the big matches and he certainly has a more consistent short and long kicking game than anyone else, if you go to training you'll see him every day calling the moves and planning for the next game, he's still very much involved in the plays we use and the calls we give. He'll step back in seamlessly.

He was asked this question in the press conference and he laughed, saying that he wished he could take the plaudits for it, but he couldn't so I presume a knock for Harris, especially as he also confirmed what we already saw, and that was Shaul really struggling with a recurrence of his ankle injury.

Oh the irony..........
Quote: knockersbumpMKII "You should be more concerned about giving up on Radford and the team week in week out just as you did again tonight
I also believed that the game was lost at that point. We were looking a shambles and Widnes had their tails up. In the end I personally believe we were lucky to get the 2 points, but we did and I was overjoyed at full time. Does that make me pathetic or just a fan who has seen us throw leads away many many many times over the last 30 odd years and knows just how dumb we can be. The fact that Mrs B posts what plenty of us thought at that time on here makes her an easy target for you it seems. How about you now call me pathetic, I dare you, because I'm just about ready to press that permanent ban button.
