I've been impressed with him too. I think Pitts could be the one to make way first seeing as he was brought in only last week as a replacement for Carvell. Of course if both Carvell and Watts make it then that means one of Bowden, Paea and Feke will make way too. Can't see it being Paea.

The way Radfords talking id guess so. Watts needs to step up though as he's just got in the 17 without any real threat for his position in recent years and its about time he shows why.

Or with Radford saying Heremaia will start maybe we'll go with 4 forwards on the bench and one of Pitts/Thompson and Rankin misses out.

Hull FC coach Lee Radford has called new signing Chris Tuson and prop forward Liam Watts into his squad for Friday’s clash with Bradford Bulls at the KC Stadium.

Former Wigan Warriors forward Tuson joined the Black and Whites in the off season and could make his debut for the club this week after missing the opening three rounds of Super League XIX with a neck injury.

Watts is also on course to return to the side after damaging knee ligaments in the pre-season friendly against Featherstone, with Joe Arundel and Jay Pitts the players to make way in Hull’s 19-man squad.

However, Garreth Carvell is not risked as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury although he is expected to feature against Castleford Tigers next week.

There is no need for wholesale changes. If we play like we did against Saints and Wire we'll beat Bradford. However if Radford messes round with the side unnecessarily we could come unstuck. We should persevere with Rankin and use Azza where he is most effective, off the bench spelling Houghton.

Hope Watts and Tuson have trained well and earned their places. Really hope our forwards put Bradford up against the wall, a few dominant displays early on in the season can throw down a marker and really help build some momentum.

Well I would have ideally liked a win in one of our last two, but there have been some good signs so far and we have played pretty well. This is a game that I don't see us losing, but rather than just scraping by I hope we can put in a really dominant display. Between now and Easter we should be aiming to be undefeated, it's important that we lay a marker down on Friday and get some momentum going.
