Would you say the same if Hull FC "rested" an entire first team for a game?

I have no problem with it either. It's all about tactics and Leeds have shown everybody else that finishing in the top 2 does not really matter if you are playing well and confident.

Don't worry, the RFL have a habit of penalising us for breaking the "spirit" of the rules whenever they don't like something we do.

I don't blame Wigan at all for resting so many players.

It's a result of the crazy playoff system.

The purpose of a squad is to have some depth to your playing personnel. As far as I'm concerned Wigan are perfectly entitled to name whoever they please. They're not breaking or bending the rules, they're using the staff that they have in the way that they want to.

Like others have said wane is entitled to pick who he pleases. The players he's picked are every bit a part of the first team squad as much as Tomkins/O Loughlin etc are. FWIW I actually think this could be a hindrance to our chances of winning on Friday as the young guns will be fired up and looking to impress. Not to mention the fact that the CC squad will all be worse for wear and we have an ever growing injury list of our own.
